HEY GROOVY BABES!
Today we're learning how to do a quick backward skate. Sometimes its hard to know how to get into it and keep the momentum so in this tutorial we're doing a complete walk through for beginners by a beginner with a beginner student. I love to feature new skaters so that you all can get a realistic view of what it looks like to begin skating as a newbie. Its okay you wont be one for long! Together we're gonna get you rolling as smoothly and groovy as we can. I sure hope this helps! Leave a comment if you have any questions. Omg. I did it! I went backwards! I've been trying since Thursday(it's currently Sunday) to go backwards following different people advice involving bubbles and sliding my foot back and all that. Your advice and yall demonstrations made it so much easier!!!! Sucks that it's raining cause only my kitchen got to see my progress, but I'm solicited for the rink! Thank you so much :)

Thank you!!!! I just couldnt understand how bubbles were meant to help me go backwards looking good. After about 10 minutes I can do it alright, need to get used to looking backwards but I can finally do it!!! (It also helps speed wise, my back patio is bumpy so without speed I get stuck in cracks, this fixes that issue completely)
