Loved this video. I loved how it felt like an inner talk, how it felt like an externalization of feelings and thoughts you have in your mind and need to hear yourself say out loud to really take everything in and put them into practice. It just felt real. I gotta say though, I've never thought of yourself as a know-it-all or selfish at all. You're typically quite sensible and humble and I've seen you taking criticism in a very positive way more than once. But I'm sure you know yourself better than we do, and I sincerely wish you stay motivated and inspired in this journey to better yourself. Ly Sarah.

Thank you so much for this video. In June I just graduated high school and it was the worst years, and I'm really wanting to declutter and detox my life of the people, material things, and negative thoughts that I have been hoarding with me since this is an opportunity to get rid of it all and move on. I'd gotten rid of old letters/pictures that are huge triggers for my depression, and cleaned through my entire closest in a similar way that you did so far. This video gave me a push of motivation to really start working on it with greater determination. I hope you realize what a wonderful and inspiriting influence you are.

I am totally with this! I'm always looking for things in myself that I don't like and try to change them. I find it so odd when others don't. Never stop growing, never stop improving! My goal was also to read 12 books! I'd been saying that I needed to read more forever, but setting a numerical goal with monthly deadlines was really helpful for me. So far I've already read 12 books. I've definitely slowed lately because of school, but I'm still ahead and I'm proud of myself!

I really want to hug you right now! And from me I can add that is really important to stop yourself for a moment and think about life, past, future, what's really important. People are. Not things. What's makes us really happy is sharing love with others even If we don't feeling that way. I'm living in London, this city is a massive mix of everyone and sometimes when I'm in the bus I'm just looking at them and I can see that most of the faces are sad - why? Because we always want more and more, but hey look what's you've got right now! You living! Now! That's a such a beautiful thing to realised that you're in this moment and appreciate that you can breathe. Breath slowly. Smile. Most incredible things in life didn't happen yet:) x

I loved this video! It's the kind of stuff I think about on a day to day basis and it's great to know that you do too. It seems we struggle with similar things and from what I've learned from my experience, the fact that you have acknowledged your flaws as flaws and that you are trying to change is a huge step in the right direction. I sometimes hate myself because I find fault in the actions of others but afterwards realize that I make the same mistakes. It kills me because I don't want to be that kind of a person, and I hate being a hypocrite. I've found that writing all of this down helps a lot in organizing my thoughts and not forgetting the mistakes I've made. Obviously you've made a video for similar purposes and I think it's great! I hope you keep uploading these kinds of videos! Thank you, and love you Sarah!!💕

I've started doing the positive changes in my life too. I've started cycling to places were I'd have just hopped in the car before. I've been trying to turn my 'mean' automatic thoughts (e.g. "Those shoes are horrible!") into positives (e.g. "They have their own style, that's cool!") and all round I can feel I have more energy, I'm happier and although I'm not as social as I used to be I'm reconnecting with old friends which is pretty cool :D Love your videos and really enjoyed this one especially. :3 aiwxo xxx

Dam I relate so much with all those issues you talked about :| Ive been working a lot on that thing you call being "selfish" since the beginning of my twenties. But I'd say it's just being an introverted type of person and maybe dealing with a bit of a form of social anxiety because, basically, it's just that spending a lot of time around people can be quite draining for us introverts and it's not something to be ashamed of. You shouldn't be so hard on yourself and I think it's great that you're working on it. Personnally, I decided I'd rather keep only my very close friends and be available for them so I'm not too tired for them when they really need me than try to be a social butterfly. I don't think I can be kind and reliable to my friends if I'm constantly desperate for ME time. And I'd like to have the humility to call myself a know it all but I just feel like a cultured person who won't accept to hear others speak insanity! :P should I work on that?

In my life I have gone through alot, so I have a tendency to be critically of challenges people struggle with, if it is not to the severity of what I've had to endure. I have been working on being more sympathetic towards others and making them feel validated in their emotions. I get pretty severe anxiety so I am also working on accepting that I am human and just like any human I will make mistakes and it isn't the end of the world.

I found this video to be very inspiring and it made me think about all the things I would like to change within myself like my shyness and learning to say no. I've struggled with those two things ever since I can remember. I could be throwing up in the morning but agree to go somewhere with someone that afternoon just because I can never bring myself to say no to anyone, which probably goes hand in hand with my shyness. honestly, I can be such a know it all as well. I haven't taken a step back to really think about it, just realized that I was acting like my mother and was disgusted by it. I'm usually only this way around my boyfriend, and he ends up feeling stupid at the end of an argument because I always feel the need to be right. But I think you are amazing for trying to change this and improve yourself. I may be admitting to it now, but I'm mostly in denial of it/don't care enough to even try to change. I feel that part about being selfish... I was often refusing to hang out with someone 'cause I couldn't be bothered to actually get up, or I felt I'll have better time playing games or whatever but I forgot to think about how does the other person feels when I decline. Maybe my presence will help someone in some way, maybe they need me around...so I thought about it and started changing my behavior. And I actually feel better now, my "me" time is still here even if I spend time with others :)

its funny that in spanish (my first language) a word that sounds very similar to "condescending" is "condescendiente" and it means the total opposite: a person that adapts to and tries to please other people wants, needs, likes and taste, to make things easy and avoid confrontation.
