The days when the wind doesn’t match the forecast & u r on the beach waiting for the whitecaps, struggle with setting up your kitelines in crowded spots, swimmingback to the beach once the wind died, driving around the world chasing the wind, the walk of shame… there r lots of things only a kitesurfer understands! 😂😂😂

What I learned in Sunset session: You need to stop while there is still enough light to see your board for board recovery.

Nailed it! I'm at the wingfoil stage now, where the guys on the beach playing Uno look pretty cool to me. No mast, fuse, foil, tail, wing, board decision to make. Just pick a card on the same color! ...so chill, sooo cool. How do those Uno players do it?

Hahahaha ja mit ner Boardleash hatte ich auch geliebäugelt 😂 Schwimmflügel oder ne Signalleuchte am Board wäre teilweise hilfreich. Oft genug zu weit upwind gedraggt und das board dann erst weit downwind erspäht.

Go fly a kite they said ~ It was great advice ! THANKS GIRLS !!! Super stoked now ~ I'm a life long surfer who lived in Hawaii for 30 years and now I'm 73. I started kitesurfing about 6 years ago after waiting for the equipment to catch up with safety gear and cheapen up as used stuff. Used Equipment is cheap now and safe. This video accurately describes the first few years and it's super funny for any kiter who has been through these stages. I was told that if I really Really REALLY wanted to learn kitesurfing that I should move to North Carolina ! WTF !?! OK ~ North Carolina is really really nice ~ even after Hawaii ~ (Cheap living !) The Outer Banks is the best location in the USA because of the very shallow inshore lagoons and sandy bars everywhere and no trees or other obstacles. There are unreal currents and tides out here ~ But the conditions are awesome ! My old surfbuddie tells me "Markus ~ I never thought I'd ever find a sport as great as surfing ! Kitesurfing is way better !!! " for you noobs out there ~ Kitesuring is the superhero sport ! YOU can get into impossible to make waves and shred them wild when you get good enough ! Kitesurfers are the superheros of the air and water... Don't wait too long as I almost did... but the sport was a killer when I first wanted to do it ~ Lots of guys in the hospital... a few dead ones. Time has cured that now... Plenty of accidents and injuries. But ya gotta be smart to keep at it and not kill yourself. I've seen some really stupid mistakes. I've made some really stupid mistakes but it's kinda like riding a bike... once you get it you are STOKED !!! No turning back now ~ Get plenty of lessons though or die a stupid death.

😂When you realize how real and same way ridiculous these scenarios is, you will have to laugh. I thought that only in Poland this is how it feel like but seems not😅. I thinking about translating it to polish language and then share it👍 PS. Best spot for North East Winds in the area visited by me many times already👌
