My headcanon is the Wormwood and Wilba are great friends. They both originate from Hamlet, and both are strange in their own ways. I like to think that Wormwood is in DST and Wilba isn’t because Wormwood is out on a quest to search for Wilba’s father, while also looking for his place of origin (in other words, looking for Them, because when examining the celestial crown, wormwood exclaims that it “helps hear them”. So he definitely knows who They are to some capacity)

I’m still surprised to this day that, along with Wilba, Klei hasn’t added Walani, Woodlegs, Wilbur, and Wheeler to DST. Sure some of them may not work properly, but it would be cool to have them as official characters. Hell add Wagstaff and even Warbucks, then there’ll be so much variety.

Edit: i have an idea what if there was a skill in woodie's skill tree that would make him stop transforming into were creatures if he was holding lucy she would tell him : "relax don't you remember your breathing practice?" or "iam not going to leave you like this" or maybe "you can do this" and i know about the lunar affinity but why wouldn't it be an upgraded version of the were creature that you mastered . what you all say???🤔🤔🤔🤔

I’m surprised Wilba isn’t in DST yet, I could see it happening someday as they’ve been putting an emphasis lately on giving characters unique fighting styles, which she kinda fills in. I know they’ve alluded to wanting to do a big follower update, it would be awesome if alongside a Pig rework we got Wilba who could further interact with the system

how do you deal with being away from the deserts? I personally cannot handle being more than 30 seconds away from cactus and tumble weeds because of the sheer convencience of infinite sanity food, veggies, grass and twigs, but usually i abandon worlds after the second autumn or winter due to my attention span shorting out, sry for any weird rambling im pretty drunk

while i admit inf durability is always op. being a glass cannon WHILE having a hambat damage at max doesnt sound balanced at all. all shyt in game bcoems easy to mass gain after day 40-50. if her dmg was something like wanda, where her damage can increase as her hp goes down, up to double damage when u are at %10 hp, it would be a fun addition. talent tree should be required to mine-dig-hammer. talent tree would have 3 options to go for combat 1- up to triple dmg as hp goes down to %10 2- %50 base dmg reduction, up to %80 dmg reduction as hp goes down to %10 3- %80 move speed bonus(instead of the %50 base), up to %120 bonus as hp goes down to %10. so she would have options to go for rather than just "yay i can inf mine.

I disagree, I'm actually surprised how balanced Wilba is in DST considering this is an unofficial mod. Unlike Wanda, Wilba can't equip any armor while in Werepig form, and neither can she use invincibility frames like Wanda can with the stepback watch. Her only way of reducing incoming damage is to dodge from point blank. Regarding damage, the player has to animation cancel in order to reach max potential, which takes a bunch of practice to pull off consistently. In summary, Wilba is all about raw inputs. Her upsides are potentially powerful but pretty much useless in the hands of an unskilled player, even more so than with Wanda, who's power stems from her items and damage modifiers. Even her infinite mining and chopping ability comes at the cost of ridiculously high hunger drain and being stuck in Werepig form for at least an entire in-game day.

What mod/setting do you have so that you can move while having your map open?

It's not a mod, you can move by left clicking in front of you and then quickly toggle the map on and off while your character moves to the point you clicked. Make sure you turn off auto pause in the settings though.

To be honest i never liked wilba too much. Her strongest form is a gimmick and wears thin shortly. Still she is amazing. But a bit repetative.
