I spent so much of my life trying to get other people's attention because I was so lonely. I am the way I've always been, and yet, the whole relational thing only got better as I became an adult. But at this point, my desire to meet new people and gain friends is burned to ashes because of the repeat failure and rejection and betrayal I've endured. I don't think I'm that good of a person, but I do what I can for others and I just hget trampled on. I'm both an introvert and a heavy empath. I am genuine but struggle with dealing with emotions to the point where I just want to remain closed off forever to minimize the damage others can do to me.

I think youtube knew i needed this video 😭 and thank you sm for the tips, i feel like i always try to hard trying to think what to say to the other person cause i overthink through it too much, sometimes I feel that I shouldn't even be there to exist as myself in a certain situation, so i move away from the spotlight and dont share my opinions or my thoughts and run away to hide from interaction 😭 and maybe that's why I never know what to say or react in certain situations but i will try my best to change my perception :) and wishing you success and happiness in your future endeavors

imma x ray tech, i use the exact same shyt when interacting w/ my patient, esp when they're in acute pain or just emotionally drained, it helps both me and them alot

3:57 i'm 5'6 too and the tallest in my class. Can you recommend ways to not feel uncomfortable taking space and standing tall? It makes me feel big in a bad way and people are really judgmental about taller girls especially in Asia, i think yk what i mean since you're Asian too.

Being short is great and being tall is also great. You can be a model, or do sports. Own it, and be a kind person to others ofc. If ppl are still judgmental, they’re probably jealous of your height

while I agree with you about these suggestion, the irony here is that, these pointers you provided is counter-intuitive to being an introvert. Make eye contact, be talkative and funny and put out a positive vibe with smiles, etc. Just thinking out loud here, that's all. Have a good one!
