Are we gonna mention the fact that Stevie T is incredibly talented and literally made this whole thing just as a joke but it was better than 98% of the radio
@ooosh4204 жыл бұрын
Thats kinda the point. These kinds of songs are stupidly easy to make. 4 chords in 4/4 time with the kick on every beat. Add lyrics and harmonies. Done. Steve is talented but talent isn't necessary to create this. I get my students to create this type of song in their first 2 weeks of learning guitar. All recorded. They don't even know its happening until they turn up and i give them a copy of the finished product and tell them it's them playing. Really helps boost their confidence and keeps em coming back.

The four-corner market square, huh? My memory is there You were there by my side I saw the sparkle in your eye You taught me how to fly But I won’t take flight Without you by my side So I'll just wait on the ground That’s where I'll be found Until the next train comes around I'll just wait on the ground That's where I’ll be found Until the next train comes around Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah Huuuu, huuuu Will you reach out and fly? E-------------x------------------------------------------x-----------x---------------------- B-------------x------------------------------------------x-----------x--------7----------- G-----2------x------4---x---------7-----6----2-----x-----4----x---------------6--- D-----0------x------0---x----------------------0-----x-----0----x--------------------- A-------------x-----------x------------------------------x----------x---------------------- E-----2------x------3---x--/7-----------------2-----x-----3---x--/7---------------- Then repeat it. The x's are to represent the slaps. It is hard to see his finger position on the first set of chords but the fancier version is what I tabbed and it is correct. Take note that the first pass of the progression he hits the 7th fret on the G string then the second pass he hits the 7th fret on the B string that is the only place it is different. Enjoy.

A basic set up for home recording of a mic and audio interface that all come with Ableton ( you used to be able to choose Pro Tools but only Ableton does the free versions now) and you can record a song for less than $1000. With DAW programs and everything digital you no longer need massive mixing desks and DAT and effects units as all that can be done with a mouse in a computer. So technically you’re not wrong but saying the music industry is more affordable would be more accurate.
