I've always been friendly but admittedly have a difficult time establishing true friendship as an adult. Those that I considered my friends, in reflection, was for selfish convenience. And in trying to improve my relationship with Christ, those friendships dont seem congruent. Losing a great childhood friend because of my selfishness is a deep regret. Great topic father. 🙏

LOVE the Chesterton quote! I've used that many times in conversations when talking about having people with you in your corner, people you can talk to about the most important things knowing that, on the whole, you are on a similar path with similar goals and sense of purpose.
