This!! I had totally put that word out of my vocabulary, from a young age, until earlier this year when I started therapy. It's almost like I had been lying to myself because I didn't want to admit that I was fearful of things, delusional almost. But God has revealed to me a different side of fear that is healthy to admit! I don't live or dwell there but I acknowledge and address fear now. It's been a beautiful journey, to unlearn and relearn misunderstood doctrine!

I'm scared, I feel so hurt. I'm 24, I have a 15 month old daughter and am going through a divorce. I don't know how I'm going to go through this process. I want my faith to be greater than the fear I feel within. I'm trusting God that He will lead me and draw me closer to Him. He is worthy of praise.❤️😭🙌🏼

Praying and believing with you sis! I’m single mom with a 2 year old and went through emotional trauma with my child’s father and church trauma amongst other personal issues… fast forward I am (still transforming) seeing how God is and has been working while I was seemingly at my worse and most fearful, and he allowed this [toxic] relationship to end.. he has been faithful and has been providing while I have been fighting to renew my mind, realizing my value, and the beauty of my daughter through this whole process. When I tell you, Dr Anita is speaking so much truth that I had to go through a very painful process and therapy to arrive at… All I can say is: But God!! I’m believing WITH you! YOU WILL WIN! Victory is already yours! God called you to motherhood for a greater purpose and through this process you will for sure become closer to Him and will be so blessed!! 🙏🏾

Sometime idk where to go where to start what to do. But I know I got another day to day thank you Jesus for another one. He not done with us yet. I said all that to say. You got this. Point she made: The trick of the enemy is to convince you to think he doesn't exist so that you don't fight him, you blame/question God.... Whew, that is true! But for some, it was taught to us. My mom and grandparents used to tell us not to give the devil too much credit. This caused me to "overlook" his antics and count him out, which has led to me questioning/doubting/not trusting God because who else can I blame (under the scapegoat of holding them accountable) but God if the devil is out of the equation? This is so good and is going to help free up some folks who are willing to stop looking for answers and seeking to be healed!

Yes!! After going on my own healing journey I recognized these same things. If I’m honest Christians have been taught to bypass, pretend, or stuff down emotions. Just slap a scripture on it! Absolutely love helping women move forward with God. A lot of the times people settle in their brokenness if they can’t figure it out (which is common) or they turn away from the faith 😩 Biblical inner work is not taught enough! Thanks for sharing this and teaching faith with inner work!! 💜💜

@7:36 we are kindred souls cuz babe, EVERYTHING shut down in my life when I learned of lupus brain fog when I got the lupus sle diagnosis (literally by an accident that I had to carefully see thru with awareness cuz these incompetent doctors were on something else scary and devastating that couldn't be trusted). I found a way to get my unconventional JD and bar admission around law school, dropped out on disability & enrolled in a medical school program to focus on neuroscience with only one thought: my mind/brain will be the LAST thing to go and I will make sure of it. God help me!
