How to be organised
There are a few ways to be more organised. I found a diary is better than a to do list. Why? Because my to list just forever sat on my desk. I'd glance at it, but I'd never actually do my to do list. When the items are in a diary on an allocated day, in an allocated timeslot, you really have no excuse. I found it far more effective. Literally put everything in. From lunch, to walking, to chatting. It becomes easy to follow and rewarding as your day follows your script.
The 2nd big hack to being organised is batching. Things like monthly accounts, or invoices. Batch them up and do them once per month, or once per week, however often you need to do them. Similar, it's the best way to deal with your inbox. Go thru your inbox once per day. Then close it. Sounds weird doesnt it? Seriously. Best hack at being efficient I've ever made. No one needs more than 1 response per day.
Use google keep for those things you might get to one day. Then on a monthly basis, review those items.
You only want to do tasks as infrequently as possible. Never as frequently as possible.
