pmsl lol lol I have met so many people like that 😁 😂 🤣 Just last week there was this non English speaking person/player who done zero to help and who ate all the fish/Pineapples.. we locked him in the Brig and he done the music thing like you said' We fire bombed/killed him about 30 times and every time he would just spawn back and spin in circles playing more music.. we all muted him and that did not work after an hour..... we refused to sell loot and that after 2 hours did not work.... I had in the end to deploy the Alexa lol "Alexa play some Iranian music" (Volume 10) I have never heard Iranian music and would have tried a different country next lol but in 6 mins he was gone Yeahhhh Alexa warfare really does work lol

Once i had a pirate legend that was throwing a fit because the rest of the crew wanted to sell the stuff from the skeleton fort we had just beat. So he set off all the gunpowder barrels and threw fire bombs at us. We lost everything and he left after doing it

I'm the guy who babysits the ship, basically while the others are off doing what needs to be done I'm getting the ship ready to leave, raising the sails, raising the anchor, turning the ship around, and using the grappling hook to pick up the crew, or any chests they leave on the shoreline, so the ship is ready to go asap once the rest of the crew is back on the ship. Once we set sail, I'll control the sails, adjusting as needed so we're always at max speed while out at sea, or slowing the ship as needed, I'll also be loading the cannons, watching for ships, and steering the ship if needed, and dropping anchor. During a fight I'll be helping with firing the cannons and keeping them loaded until we're hit, which at that point I'll repair the ship and bucket any water, I also stay on the ship and defend it. During down time, at an island I'll fish or stock up, at sea I'll play music or organize our resources, at a port I'll restock the ship with anything I find in barrels or help sell our loot, which is the only time I'll leave the ship, unless my crew needs help on the island.

This is honestly my crew almost all the time. I'm always one manning the brig or galleon while everyone else is getting drunk or shooting themselves out of cannons or dropping the anchor without helping to raise it and leave me to deal with docking the boat without any help.

Was once stealing some fort loot by loading it into a galleon's rowboat as they sailed to the outpost, got face checked by a 'Crablord' like this guy in the doorway on the side of the captain's quarters. I thought I was rumbled and backed off to prepare to fight. Despite physically bumping into me, Crablord didn't notice and went back to bouncing around main deck, playing his hurdy gurdy. Never change Crablords.

So many times I've been on galleon arena I join and the ship is half way under water, the whole lobby is on the ship and then everyone leaves. Great job guys

I spent about 3 Hours with a crew of ransoms in the volcanic area of the map. Had around 50 chests and was heading north through open water along the edge of the map towards the outpost when one of the players randomly decided to turn east and keep sailing out of bounds while I was under the deck cooking. He didn't even turn back just kept going and freaking out that the ship was sinking. But wouldn't get off the wheel or help fix repairs.

And when the rest of the crew shoots out to an island to supply up, that guy takes the ship and drives to the island you went to and crashes it towards the island before dropping the anchor. The ship ends up a bit far up on the island, gets stuck and finally despawns.

Omg my friend is literally this guy by accident. He wears the crab set because he thinks it looks cool, he stands in the tavern for ages, he stops the ship really far from an island because he thinks he is going to crash and he does nothing

This is a note from "THAT GUY". My very first time playing was about a week after the game came out. I had no idea about the single and multiple player option, I just read how to get into the game so I jumped in. I was on a gallon crew raising lowering sails, firing cannonballs, loading and unloading cannons, drop the anchor (twice), kept shooting my pistol until I ran out of ammo (didn't know how to reload at this time), kept turning the sails, ate all the resources, sailed the boat away after everyone jumped off on an island, and somehow got tossed into the bridge for the next 20 minutes. I think that day was still the most fun I had playing. I just didn't know it yet. If I was a pirate for an opposing team, I would have been the greatest pirate on a seas that day.

I wish I had a Mic to tell that one crew when we did athena's why I was practically useless. To give a bit of context I stayed on the ship and was either a bard or sharpshooter depending on what need to be done, I was also our helmsman. But I feel bad because those guys had done it at least 3 times each and I'm new to the game, it was literally my third voyage of any kind.

My friend and I literally had a discussion today about our crew having players like this sometimes.

Rare needs to make it so anyone in the brig can't receive rank or gold while locked away.

Lately in my open crew sessions, one crew mate tries to tuck on our ship to hide and do minimal work. I just find their hiding spots and tuck with them! They leave soon after!

When I raise the anchor, mine decides the best bet is to get on the anchor and pull it down so that our other crewmember who is trying to do something, can help us raise the nearly fully up anchor

My friend is like this but he doesn't be slow unless we are in a rush and he also cooperates even worse.ex: we were doing the infinite ashen chest thing and he only got gold instead of getting ashen voyages so when our friend got off my other friend and I only didn't have enough for ashen key voyage and nor did he cause he didn't cooperate and used all his points on gold

Has anyone else noticed that skeletons that spawn on island (not ones that spawn when you dig up a chest or ones that spawn from Order quests) have changed. They all wear some type of crew uniform. Is this Rare teasing the next tall tale?

Note: you don't need the ocean crawler set to do this, you have to have the default cloth they give you. Much much more better. I actually think the ocean crawler set looks kinda decent (don't kill me please)

You should have put in there how you attempt to turn in loot but on your way off the ship just before you get off you accidentally drop the chest on the ladder glitching it into the side of the ship making it impossible to recover. True story.

I had one person like that on a Galleon once. We locked him in the brig and told him to get off because he wasn't contributing. He refused, saying he's "enjoying the server" and complaining about how we'd go back to the outpost every time we had something valuable. We all left the game with him in the brig. He didn't even help with unloading any of the treasure

You forgot to claim all cursed Cannonballs, Ringung the bell for absolutely no reason cause it's fun, blowing your ship up by accidentally hitting a crewmate with an black powder stash, spamming these prefabricated texts, burning yourself and your mates, changing the flag of the ship to either the flag of the reapers mark or the alience flag aaaand, most importantly, go afk as soon as you get hands on the steering wheel. I just love seeing these ones on the seas... in other crews, that is.
