Idk our lfg group kept dying there and then me and my buddy tried it and we had no issues, every side struggles with the stasis/fire area of effect. Did around 50 runs on all sides and imo mid is the most annoying cause of phalanx shield & ping pong travel time.

The glaive strat alone is incredibly smart. For teams that lack thumbs, you can also build your resonance stacks before you even go in to break the weak point. Makes it so there’s no ads when you’re doing plates. You let the plates go out after 3 cycles, kill the big boy with aeons, go in to break blights and head, then just grab the resonances and close the obelisk for damage

what were your teammate's classes and builds on the left side? bc the left side seems to be a little tougher considering you have to traverse up and down for the buff and take care of adds in a wide range.

Honestly I’m wondering too, I was hunter on left and it was extremely hard to stay alive. I was consistently on the bottom for some reason and all I could use was the woven mail helmet, a heal clip weapon, blinding gl and I still died sometimes. My teammate was a prismatic lock with the helion aspect, a heal clip summoner, and conditional. He barely died.

I'm not sure I am fully understanding the dunking of the resonance in this encounter. If you dunk more than 3 do you get any extra time? How many were you guys shooting for to dunk in the thing for damage? My team was always going for max stacks and it seemed like it was causing us major issues, but if you can get by with doing less than that seems super optimal. Also, no matter how many we dunked we seemed to always max out at 3 minutes which counted down during dps, so if we can dunk less and get the same amount of time then that would be super chill sorry for such a long comment but any help would be appreciated lol. congrats on the clear

1 resonance = 20 seconds more 2 = 40s 3 =1 min no need to get more than 1 to charge pillars i believe

Now, I realize no glaive slander, but if youre not using an exotic weapon, why not throw on wolfpack ergo sum and heavy then swap to guillo?

ergo has really weak block capabilities, and i think he uses a glaive to conserve ammo too,, even though he’s on all legendaries they all seem to have a pretty precise role that doesn’t seem to be covered by an exotic (except maybe the glaive)

Wolfpack Ergo Sum plus guillotine is really good for dps but the main difficutly of this encounter is surviving. This have alot of ads that can one shot your if not careful. Ammo economy is also important since if you get called you have to dump alot of ammo to shoot the boss' head.

@@jasonbaesas1237 the boss's head isn't the reason for bad ammo economy, just make sure people kill blights and you can easily pop boss's skull with primary

How does the blight work? We shoot his head, shoot the blights but then the blights respawn so we have to do it again. Any ideas how to help?

You have to shoot his head again after shooting the blights within a certain amount of time to get stolen valor Stolen valor lets you see what shape it is for totem

Blights go down first. When the dark ball above his head disappears, then you can shoot his head.

max reset timer is 3 minutes on this encounter. Each resonance is 20 seconds. 9 resonance is the max that you can dunk for the timer. However, you can actually dunk 15 if every single person is dunking the max amount.

The shape in the pillar/conductor. The yellow lit shape inside when it's active. You just need your last pick up to have been that shape

I don't get why people have to confuse these videos why not simplify it people would love you for it how about making a video split into sections like in old raids for example make a video saying ok if your on ad clear this is your job and explain about where to find the ads then next time stamp if your a runner this is your job you do this and you do that and a time stamp for say defender this is your job you defend the obelisk and don't let this person get to it. That was an example but explaining the encounter into sections helps people understand thier jobs easier and makes for an easier follow rather then explain the whole encounter in one section and confuse people

I think this proves it's not bad, it's just entirely skill dependent. Glaives are genuinely awesome, but you have to know how to use them wisely. Personally I'm too much of a run n gun type guy so I don't mess with glaives much but I recognize their potency in the right hands.
