In this video, we take on the new Onslaught boss in the Spring of Sorrow event with my Rank 3 Deathless King Groot. DKG is a surprisingly early objective this event and completing it gets you the dupe on the 7-star. Naturally, I had to go for it first!

something i think is worth noting is that if you parry him, you’ll trigger the daunted which turns off your willpower, so i’d watch out for that

Was hoping you'd post something like this. It's the only objective I have left. For me, your onslaught sp1 guide was a lifesaver. Kept hearing the sounds cues in my head for/with every sp1 dex. You're a hero🎉

Onslaught's AI seems to be absolutely horrendous. One minute, he's extremely passive and then he's suddenly intercepting with ease

The AI is basically pre set to play to this node.I consider it a fight that Kabaam, fixed to screw us into spending units for revives.It's almost impossible to intercept Onslaught.Regardless of if I use medium or light,he just hits me.

yep did this one, took some revives tho. His base dmg is decent enough to chip him down nicely

This fight is torture. They learned nothing from the absman robot objective.

I definitely think this is the second most difficult fight we've had, but at least you don't get to watch all of your progress erased with some BS regen like Absman

@@simula67yes!!!!!!!!! That. Also I’m cool with the resource use…because we get a great awakening and 20 sigs! There was just a 6,000 unit offer for a class 7 star and might get your most unwanted pull

Nice fighting good video ! :) I almost took the class 7* but last 3 class 7* all not wanted ones so skipped and used for missing king groot pieces now need dupe him. Thinked if r2 first or not. Is thor or gamora better relic?

It becomes easy if know how to counter his sp1 like getting close to him by performing medium after last second hit of sp1 but it requires a lot of Practice

If you want the full sos rewards, do you need to do all 3 tag objectives + the king groot one to get it?

I believe there is a single grace point available so if you skip one now you have to do the rest including all of the gauntlet ones

Being a paragon, not having deathless champions. How many points can I farm across entire spring of sorrows event ? I'm farming t4a and need 1 t4a to be valiant (no necro). Appreciate any help.

Paragon players can get to a total of 18 points (milestone 7) if you do every objective. Since you don’t have the deathless champ you’ll be unable to skip an objective.

When i did 3 armor breaks they were on countdown instead and idk why. 🤔

Armor breaks will be permanent if you have fury buffs when using the SP1

I was really bad at the fight. But didn’t use too many resources. Hey that’s what they are there for. It’s extremely cool the deathless champs. And the ability to awaken was one of the most player friendly moves ever. If that was Kabam Crashed idea, that’s the employees Kabam needs. I used resources. That’s a win for Kabam. I need to replenish now. And I got an awakening. I had R2ed but not used overly much. Waiting for this. Now to explore him more. I got about 7-12% off each fight. That’s me. If that was someone else here: you are not alone. I got great at intercepting. Dexing specials? Not so much…..

I found a way to punish his sp1 with any champ When you dex the nova he does (the third dex you do) you dash forward then dash backwards immediately to dodg the last hit. This will have you ne closer to him so you will be able to punish his specials. You just have to get the timing right.

I’ve tried this a bunch but couldn’t get it down with DKG. Will be trying with other champs for the remaining objectives tho

You have to dex the third hit pretty early for that, a bit before this schockwave thing would hit you

Using my wireless headphones and seems there is audio delay. when I strike him I don't hear the SFX right away but second later making it hard to listen. Of all the bugs in the game audio delay is the worse. 🤦

Likely a latency issue with your headphones and not with the game.

Maybe because one fury will consume to increase duration of regen. When it is done, it will consume another fury automatically to shrug off active debuff. I noticed this when I spam sp1. Edit : you can clearly see that before sp3, 2 fury were active. After that, No fury

Too bad I did not record it but that Mf of Onslaught danced in my face and evaded all of the 3 hits of the sp 1 at a close range

I had this happen several times. It was difficult to special intercept because the windup on DKG's SP1 takes so long.

I'm happy to have a big increase in damage and less regen. The regen at max sig is still going to be crazy powerful even though it's way less than the OGs

The "AI" feels like cheap programming gimmicks. Straight up input reading to intercept you. Not to mention DKG hits like a wet paper tissue in this fight
