This is awesome! Thanks a lot! I just tried this and you can cheese it even further if you kill the knight after the riposte punch. Smough will attack close to the fog door, you can send a couple of dung pies to him and he dies after a while. After the cutscene you are still outside the battle area. At the right distance (id say about halfway of the stairs but I would need to check to confirm) ornstein doesnt hit you with his bolts but sometimes his body is halfway through the fog door. Hit him with some arrows (poison works great too) and he is done. I took no damage and I had to apply absolutely zero skills.

you have to kill the Sentinals first when they are dead you lure the silver knight down and lure him with you to the fog gate. You must see that you have 1 spot free and 1 filled with a weapon (right hand) in the left hand you hold a shield or a weapon that you can parry with. parry the knight with your shield with your back to the fog gate then attack him with a bare hand which will make you lose balance and if you do it right you will see Smough and Ornstein their health bars on your screen now you can kill knight with your weapon. You will now see Smough swinging his hammer around the fog gate but instead of walking to the bonfire attack the gate with dung pies which will cause Smough's health to drop slightly and you can always attack Smough's hammer with arrows but keep some distance from the gate because Ornstein can hit you. Smough's health will slowly drop until he dies and you will see a cutscene of the 2nd stage of Ornstein but he is still inside the gate and you are outside it now Ornstein will attack the gate and at times his body will light up outside the fog show that you can attack him with arrows until he too dies

This is such a frustrating fight for me. Gang fights are always annoying, but one where the other gets his health back when you beat one is really fucking stupid because then there’s no incentive to damage the other, so the other just becomes an annoyance

What is it with that one knight as you're coming down the stairs. Always gives me trouble hahaha

lol you don't have to run to the bonfire because you can simply attack smough his hammer at the gate and Ornstein his spear which makes you still can get the Leo ring and none of the bosses can attack you

does this glitch still work if it's not my first time fighting them? already fought them a few times and didn't succeed obviously :(

Can you cheese them if you already triggered the cut scene

I’m actually RIGHT at the point to fight O & S for the first time. I’m on the Prepare to Die edition, not the Remastered, but I’ll try to give this a shot and see if it works
