I think this anime would of been significantly better if there was more of a benefit to the food like buffs. The food aspect jist seemed kinda there to pander towards an audience while advertising different foods. I was more so annoyed watching this. Especially with the fact that this dudes sister would of died within minutes to seconds after coming in contact with the dragons stomach acid or suffocate from a lack of oxygen

In the anime it’s explained dragons digest things very slowly. And that wouldn’t make sense . The food aspect is kinda realistic because if you’re in a dangerous place separated from civilization you realize food weighs a lot so they got to eat what’s on hand
