How to Beat Tomb of the Nine Gods! Dungeon Guide & Overview - Reaper Day 6 - Neverwinter Mod 21

After completing the first part of the Chult Campaign in Soshenstar, you unlock the Tomb of the Nine Gods Dungeon! Here you must solve puzzles and beat 3 different bosses to finally complete it. This dungeon has many mechanics throughout and with my guidance it should make it a lot easier to complete, rather than going in blindly. Although I'll admit if you have a group of friends it can be much funner to figure these things out together!

The trap when the ceiling collapses could bug in and that makes the dungeon uncompletable because the door becomes permanently blocked by the debris. Not clear what triggers it in but 1 player will be stuck with the last piece of stone in their hands and the trap resets with no option to solve it. Edit for spelling

Hey I’ve been playing this game forever and the dinosaur mount actually eats the souls….So if more than one person has a dinosaur it works out really well if the DPS can’t get the souls quick enough great video thanks

This is good advice that I often share while in the dungeon. A party with T-Rexs, King of Spines, Giant Toads, and mimics via Arcturia's Music Box can make quick elimination of souls by having them outright consumed.

box is way better to use the only complication is that you ideally need multiple things to take care of the souls because most of the time people aren't strong enough or don't have time to kill them with their own powers. The only issue with the box is you have to be in a good position to get all 3 of the souls, if not, then you have to rely on others who have toads and trex's.

Thanks again for the informative video! It is worth noting for the Final Boss that the souls can be instantly killed by using either Arcturias music box artifact or a Trex/King of Spines mount power. I have heard toad mount power can work too but I have not tested myself. These can help a ton in avoiding soulmonger charge, but that assumes they are not disabled in that reaper challenge. Cheers.

Alot of us are getting the "last boss blues". I'm finding as the the tank,if I keep the ads busy, the DPS can 🎯 the boss...but they die. Or I can aggro the boss and let the DPS at the mobs...then I or the DPS die 😑

The potions are set when you first spawn into the dungeon, 2 per player. If you start the dungeon with 1 player then invite more there will only be 2 potions at each trap. Healer needs to use cleanse for last boss otherwise its a stun circus (the burn dot doesn't do enough damage anymore to warrant a need for cleanse) Arcturias music box will nuke all the souls and all the adds at Ras Nsi, 2nd best choices are T-Rex and Toad.

Tip for weaker dps is trex and music box artifact will 1 shot souls

Unfortunately the T-Rex won't work on there because one of the challenges that day was "no mount powers" lol.

I couldn't pass the second boss yesterday. Kept taking massive damage, scroll fest, 1 attempt the boss had 5 percent health left.

Yep, second boss yesterday was hardest part of the run for my group as well, but after that it went smoothly. Whole party had to mass scroll a few times when the boss was super low too. But that's how it goes when we decide to ignore mechanics and go zerg boss lol

@@NatePhan Exact same thing happened to my group too. Thing is, I never even knew about the dwarves powering the traps as shown in the video! I started playing in mod17 so never ran original chult, and in random Qs everyone burned down the boss so quick i didnt see the dwarves at all. Lol. I am sure ill learn a few more things with future reapers challenges too.

friend aragorn I don't know if you tested the dungeon tuern today. but with normal training it is extremely difficult. however I found an easy way to finish. using 2tanks 2dps 1heal. mechanics. 1 tank next to the dps attacks the boss. another tank attacks the mobs and the heal heals them both. just pay attention to the fire on the ground as it is extremely high damage. so finish easily. I finished I helped friends on the ps4 platform

they are just all the apreviated dungeon names. VoS = Vault of Stars, IC = Infernal Citadel etc

Excellent! Could you do one for normal Infernal Citadel? Or post a link if you've done one? I always get confused on the boss with which square to dumpp my red circle. Watching a chaotic battle field while keeping an eye on party hp on the top left of the screen makes things hard on a Healer. {:-:-:}

Not a great tip for that dungeon specifically, but I've found moving the party health from the right corner to a little closer to the middle of the screen has helped me a lot! Otherwise, I'd just make sure you have a good heal or two that's widespread and doesn't involve as much targeting ^^. On pally, I usually start out with divine shelter until I've determined how the group runs/if I need divine touch instead

As Healer in normal ToNG, I take the damage immunity. Is this advice here only for Reaper version, or should I also normally take the middle one? {:-:-:}

tank or heal should always take the middle

Whatever works for your team. Healer is fine with left or mid. Back before mod 16 we were always on left, because those adds (zombies) were brutal and a dps was needed to handle them. Mid gives you double damage to trash and half damage to orcus.

Yes we did it 2 dps 2T 1H, 1T takes rage drakes and assassin drakes to the 1 corner other tank and dps go boss H floats between if you kill rage drakes it empowers him

Have done it with 1 tank,1 heal 2 st and 1 aoe dps. Tank and heal with the St-dps, gank the boss like in Prince of frost while the aoe dps use aoe at the boss clearing the ads that get close. By the end only 1 dps,heal and tank were finishing of the run at 40% hp...cause hand blast/repel killed the other dpses. Most mistakes done in there is fighting in range even the healer and ranger had to comprimise on stacking on the boss to complete it, so the boss wont use fireballs

@@PantherCrane Yeah, the prices are clearly listed in the store. 1 token=1 day. Besides I am mainly doing this for the titles anyway. Those who can get the tokens likely already have most of what they need from the store(except maybe the greater shards), and those who need the items in the store can't do it, so it's pretty counterintuitive if you ask me.

the 30K skirm today's 10x harder than the 50k ToNG. People (esp healers) just can't follow the simplest instructions. Reminds me of the meme where in WoW raids people will stand in the fire to their death. (Hint sometimes boss do more fireballs and sometimes less, and people figured out how to make him do less fireballs.) Most fireballs are bugged and invisible on the ground though. People aren't taking about this method in public for some reason so I guess I won't either. Alternatively do the two tank method where 1 tank run with rage drakes and 1 tank the boss. This seem to be the more popular strat even though I think it's harder since the boss will still make invis fire on the ground.

We found a decent way to beat it start by killing adds on the side then the drakes then tank the boss away from the middle because red spots that drop in the middle are invisible like it goes under the platform in the middle besides that watch for more adds and burn the boss

@@user-kv1ih9lf5e I have ones that are on the sides that were invis as well. Some are invis all the way and some will show after a few seconds. Some will show the redzone when the boss casts some won't. And sometimes some people can see them and sometimes everyone can't. Total bugfest.

@@shekelmeister lol sounds like you had a good time we wiped like 5 or 6 times before people started to catch on then it went decently smooth we had a warlock healer so it made things harder since you cant really stand still in there
