@drmurtazamak Hi Dr. I am a BDS graduate from India; but I have the registration of UK GDC for Dental Nurse, Dental Therapist and Dentist. For Dental Nurse, I have undergone and passed a UK diploma course and received the registration license, for Dental Therapist - I have undergone the assessment conducted by UK GDC and received registration license and for Dentist, I have passed UK ORE exam and received the registration license. So what I would like to know is that,vCan I practise in Australia in any of these titles straight away without having to undergo any ADC exams? Appreciate if you could please share some info. Thank you.

1) I am a dentist at my home country and if i want to become a dental hygienst/therapist at Australia do i have to appear in any exam or do i have to get admission for the 3 years course ? 2) And if someone completes the 3 year course can they work as a hygienst / therapist ?

Enrol in the 3 years course for bachelors in dental hygiene or Oral health therapist. Some courses has prerequisites, so make sure do your research in which universities the course is available and what are the requirements. Once you finish the course, you can work as a hygienist or therapist. Make sure you check immigration guidelines or consult a lawyer, as things keep changing. Best of luck

@@8ktv475 bro dentists in india are underpaid or there aren't much opportunities and even someone dosent have enough financial support to give exams like ADC so the only option for abroad is to come through other pathways,earn money and give exams by yourself and clear exams and get licenced as dentist Btw i am a dental student

Check with an immigration lawyer and check the pre-requisites for the dental hygiene bachelors. Then you can work out a plan. There is always a way. You just need to do some research and homework. Best of luck 👍👍

Generally for residents the cost is a bit less, international students pay a slight higher fees. But it also depends on the course you are planning to enroll, so best to do your research prior making any decision.

Check on the university pages on all the universities offering the course in Australia. And check their requirement sections. It should state their clearly what are their minimum requirement score for the English exam. So do some work on that 👍
