I have noticed that the BEST marketers have a YT channel around the 10 - 50k range. My guess is because the 250 k - 3 mil channels are doing just that; making money on youtube by creating as much click bait content as possible. Always trust a digital marketer who doesn't post every 3 days because he is usually working on a REAL freelance career with clients. Rich, you are one of the best! I'm 100% thinking about taking this course

I just suscribed to your channel maybe a week ago and dude, this video, especially the part with Ikigai was so revealing. I was a Business Developer and absolutely not happy whith my job and After a lot of thoughts about what I wanted in my life to be happy, I decided to quit and attend to a 3 month training in Data-driven and innovation in order to become a digital marketer (inboud marketer). And yes, I just realized how dumb we are to choose a carriere blindely instead of thinking about what are the pillars that would make us happy and build our carriere and our entire life around them... This kind of way to approach life would have saved me a lot of time and hearing that comforts me that I made the right choice, thank you

Hello, I like your channel, haven't watched the video yet, but I know that it's gonna be good. ( as always) I have a question, and I know you are gonna be honest. ( if you decide to answer ) Would it be possible to work in digital marketing without writing copy? The thing is, I'm not a native speaker of English, and I think that, even though my friends from the US say, that there is no language barrier between us. I still think my English might not be good enough to write copy. I'm Russian, but I live in Shanghai, and in the future I would also consider staying here for work. So there is probably gonna be a bit less competition than in the US. Do you think I should keep learning DigMarketing (I'm currently learning SEO) or should I focus on something else, maybe also marketing related...but more technical... don't really know... Would really appreciate any feedback🙏 Have a good day, and I wish you to have more subs in the future.
@beardedbeauty32884 жыл бұрын
Kit Rimes I believe that if you want to make it work, you’ll make it work. If writing copy is something you don’t feel to be a good fit for you you’re ahead of most in this early decision process in deciding what you want to do for a major part of your life that pays you money because you are recognizing a possible weakness in your skill set as a digital marketer. So, you have two options my friend, first is you can better develop writing copy to the point you feel comfortable and confident selling it, or you can anchor in your already known strengths in digital marketing and outsource what you suck at. My opinion is you don’t need to know how to write copy to be a successful marketer, but it’s good to at least practice at it as it is a big part to providing digital services. Especially with ads. But you can just outsource it to a freelancer and take your cut off the top. Very common in digital marketing.

no son. you are wrong. there is a tsunami of freelance digital marketing opportunities coming. I've made 10x in my client services business than my course. So your comment is not only untrue it shows a side of you that you are unhappy with your level of success and the success of others bothers you. I am not even that successful. I see you like music and you made videos on your channel since 2011. I've also had this channel since 2012. I've been around just like you. But none of my videos really got popular on this particular channel. Finally one video popped. I was sharing my story of becomign a digital marketing consultant. I posted that video over a year before I ever sold anything through this channel. I never had that intention. But that video got so popular, and so many great comments and so many people signed up for a pre-waiting list to learn from me. So I dedided to fill the demand and create the course. And somehow I created something so unique and transformative it is continue to grow and now I promote it as I know how much it can help others. Tell you what. If you are humble enough to retract your comment by replying below - I'll let you have my course for free and we can see who is talking and who is walking.

I was looking to focus on one aspect of digital marketing like doing Facebook management and ads for health and fitness professionals. Do you think FB is lucrative or funnels? Your program is about creating funnels only? Lol, this is a little confusing. I'm in several Facebook groups and they say learn one skill and become an expert at it. Then make sure you have a niche and in my case it's fitness professionals. Also, does your program show you how to start and run this business? Where & how to get clients? Legal documents for clients to sign? I like to learn the entire step by step process of running your business.
@richandniche4 жыл бұрын
FB can be lucrative but is it sustaiable? I don't know. I don't make it my primary source of income. Funnels is what marketing is about. If you don't learn about a funnels you are only learning about a sub section of what is critical to succeed.

@richandniche4 жыл бұрын
It is certainly relevant info and your personal magnetism will likely be weaker the farther your clients are. But if you actually can provide value and you are able to make the communications seemless for your clients no matter their timezone, then it doesn't really matter. No one really knows where I'm from when they first meet me. You can say you are location independant, you move around. You like your freedom and since you dn't have an office you are more affordable pricing than some NYC or LA marketers;

Your content is always jaw-dropping... Still, I sort of think there is somewhat of a barrier to entry digital marketing, it's difficult to get started from nowhere and ask to get paid when you have no prior experience nor can do your own for a while to get the gist and learn on the go... So, you have to be given a chance to learn by trial and error (unless someone would be "crazy" enough to invest on you, with no proof record, or even a way to actually learn because you need an actual business and product to practice around your craft). That's the reason I am first going to design landing pages as a starting point, so that I can both learn and design a portfolio myself and then I can sell that service I already know and know I can deliver... (It's obviously a very well elaborate question and I would appreciate to hear your opinion on what you think of mine, thanks, you're always very interesting to hear and learn from).
@AFMCarlos4 жыл бұрын
I would love to be subscribed to your future podcast by the way ;(
@richandniche4 жыл бұрын
yes its difficult in terms of what you said, but its not difficult in terms of you need very little startup capital. No office, no expensive tools, no employees...so that lowers the barrier. You'd be surprised how many people are crazy enough to take a chance on you - you see diigtal marketing is a luxury for many businesses right now. There are tons of businesses that cannot afford a marketer but would take an intern. I used this method myself at first. Your ideas to do landing pages is good though. The more authority you have the better. But at first you can just say, I have experience in blogging, social media, and some funnel design. Why don't I do a small project for you and see if you like where I'm going?
@AFMCarlos4 жыл бұрын
That's my beef with digital marketing... You have to short of commit to each client (work long-term with them and commute in a way), in the other hand, as a designer for instance, you can just design something and hand it off in three days... But still, digital marketing is the way you can bring the most value to someone (in comparision to any other "digital job"), and is the most fun as well :)

Feels so interesting but at the same time im so tired of DM gurus that make trash courses saying things like CREATE UR DM AGENCY AND START DOING COLD CALLS AND AFTER THAT THEN U CAN LEARN A LITTLE OF DM AND CHARGE THEM 3K FOR DOING BASICALLY NOTHING that ive become quite skeptical and feels bad cos u seem like a pretty honest and decent guy but you know theres a ton of fake gurus ruining the image of digital marketers
@richandniche4 жыл бұрын
I don't teach agency. I teach freelance. I don't recommend charging 3k. I recommend working for free and building a portfolio. Anyways, what course did you buy? Fake Guru is just a trendy thing to say, each person might find someone more valuable than another. I've gotten tons of value from Dan Lok but many people say he is a Fake Guru. Are you sure you are not skeptical of your own ability to commit to a process?
@sactergraw81664 жыл бұрын
@@richandniche Nope, I am not skeptical. I know I can become anything putting the effort. I personally bought Iman gadzhi's smma and its totally bullshit. A lot of cold calling things and this or that and they dont teach a single Digital marketing thing, and they tell you to contact clients before u dont even know a single thing about digital marketing or how to provide value for your clients. A friend of mine got some Dan Lok courses and the majority of his "succesful entrepeneurs" end up working for Dan Lok in customer service or mentoring others how to become millionaires without being it themselves. A complete madness. The healthier way to get something out of fake gurus is taking actiong from their free content. Their free content is the highest value they provide in order to sell their BS courses. Then, after you buy lets say Dan Lok's first course they use psychological tricks like consistency or commitment to sell 2 or 3 upsells that will get you bankrupt. And its not me, a friend of mine and dozens of testimonials on YT that basically confirm how they create like a cult of Dan Lok that triggers some dark psychological influence weapons (as Robert Cialdini would say). + I am subscribed to you, which means I dont believe in magic bullets or get rich quick schemes, and 've got a web where I talk about copy. Whats your recommendation for people living in countries with a low cost of living. I notice clients expect low prices depending on where you live. I find it unfair especially if you're able to put out results similar or even better with people doing digital marketing in more xoensive countries.
@richandniche4 жыл бұрын
I understand your feeling about this. I would say that the people who earn more in wester country typically have much more expensive cost of living so it’s sort of appropriate in terms of entry level corporate marketing job. But if you work for yourself you can command what price you want. If your local company cannot afford then go find clients in other countries if you can get good results. But I think it is a good place because there are still plenty of well-funded business owners who need help with their digital marketing.

Can a beginner enroll in the course?
@richandniche4 жыл бұрын
Yes I believe so. It will save you from a lot of wasted time and energy searching through old and irrelevant materials.

@@richandniche Brilliant. Another question though, the course is 'Full Stack Marketing' So will doing this course make someone such as myself ready to plan my own business and then send my first proposal to a buyer? Im just double checking because i cant help but be cautious when im putting £500+ on the line to buy the course. By the way, I am reading million Dollar Consulting and also have Million Dollar Proposal to read after, following your suggestion!

Almost zero "how to" in this video, and a lot of "I make $**** and then I make $***". Wasted my time

the how to is above the skills, it's the mindset son. I have many other videos with "how to"

@@richandniche I assume that's the subject of the first email one receives having paid for your "academy" "courses". Otherwise I don't see why exactly you suddenly resorted to name calling

But is that remote-capable? If so its worth twice as much right now.

see where you are at in 2 years,, make sure you have a good money mindset (read FU money by Dan Lok). Nothing worth doing is easy. Nothing great comes easy.
