Becoming a paid speaker is one of my goals, I'm so glad I'm watching this now before my journey begins!

Hey Nat! This is such a full circle moment, I remember hearing you speak at UMKC and this video is equally as impactful! Thank you for this information as I begin my speaking career!

It was so valuable to see black femmes my age doing what I want to be doing. This was worlds more meaningful, appropriate, and relatable for me than the old white people talking about the same topic. I don't want to speak like them, I want to speak like me. Thank you both for putting yourselves out there.

Thank you so much for this. I’m on the journey of becoming a motivational speaker. I learned I had the passion of uplifting people when I was working in the medical field. Instead of cleaning them and giving them bath. I found my joy in my patients allowing me to hear their stories and I love inspiring them. I will take what I learned here and apply it to my KZfaq channel. Thank you

How do you balance the dichotomy of talking about yourself to be relatable, but not talking so much about yourself that you bore others?
@TheAshleyNicoleShow3 жыл бұрын
You place stories strategically! So maybe one story about you in the beginning, but the other stories can be about you and your clients!

Looks. Proffesional photos. Bio. Niching down. When the students are ready the teacher will appear. Testimonials. What are they looking for? What do you want your clients to get? Start out with a free speaking. Make sure you get sth out of the experience. Everybody is not everybody. How to charge: Attend a speakers bookcamp/conference.
