I needed to see this video I am a Cna and my job offered me a CNA supervisor/scheduler position and for some reason I got a strong feeling that it was God that did that for me I am only 21 and Im nervous because I’ve never been a supervisor before but I will pray about it thanks to you! All of the managers and the other Cnas for some reason have confidence in me that I’ve not quite yet found in myself

I’m so glad this video was able to help! Being a supervisor at 21! That’s amazing! Lean in to where God is leading you. We may not see what he sees in us, but he knows what we are capable of. You can do this! I pray all goes well! 🙏🏾

Received a job supervisor position even though was denied it prior ,they kept offering me eventually accepted it,after watching that video my mindset change

Hello, is there a training for Interqual outside of on the job? I became a nurse and introduced to UR in 2014 now I’m spinning the block. There may be changes. Interview tomorrow! I’m praying about it b/c I need the position for my babies. Thanks, any advise will help.

Hi! I hope your interview went well!!! My hospital donut use interqual. We use MCG. A lot of insurance companies are using MCG as well. I’ve never used interqual but I’m assuming it’s not too different from MCG. Many diagnoses must go to observation first before meeting inpatient criteria. I believe you will do great, especially because you have experience!

@@dopenursingish827 Interview went amazing! I was updated that the company also uses MCG but I’m hopeful that when I see it I can grasp the concepts. Waiting on interview 2 with management team! Wish me luck!

Hi Ish, I’m a PT with >15yrs experience and have worked in multiple settings. I’m looking to transition to away from direct patient care and wanted to know if there are UR jobs for physical therapists.

Hi Deidra! Hope all is well! You know I just came across a link or something online talking about PT transitioning into utilization! So it’s definitely possible. I just saw a job posted on google “Keystone Peer Review Organization, Inc. Anywhere” it’s remote. So definitely look into it!

Is their a specific certification that a nurse can get for utilization management nurse?

The Certified Case Manager is common among utilization nurses, however, you do not need certification to become a Utilization nurse. Strong clinical skills and hospital experience will get you in the door.
