Can I give you a tip? If you dont mind then... Try telling them first and list them some ideas of why and what you'll do if they would let you to become a k star. Like I will study hard and get more good grades, i'll do some chores for you (unless you do chores), i'll work harder doing my flute, and etc. Also I believe in you! Follow your dreams, i bet you can do it! im korean so if you want more tips be free to ask :D

@@Mischief23789 thank you! also an update i just wanted to tell: i finally had the courage to tell my parents that i didnt want to do flute anymore and they were fine with it and my flute teacher too! but i still couldnt find a way to tell them about my dream… and because of that and many other reasons ive been really stressed lately so im really lost in my thoughts all the time and my parents are getting worried i think but im really scared to tell my parents because i still live with them and if they dont want me to be an idol id be too sad or embarrassed (idk) to even like look at them and they probably dont think its a good idea.. and like i probably said the the comment, my sister is like really against kpop and stuff, we are koreans but we lived our whole life kinda like only learning the american culture and stuff so we’ve been kinda hating korean cultures and stuff. but one day i really found kpop songs and idols really nice but i still haven’t figured out a way to tell my sister either. lately ive also been crying every night at 2am always thinking why ive become like this, why couldnt i have just stuck with american culture and pop, why did i have to choose THIS path in life.. and even if i tell my feelings to my sister or something, she doesnt believe me because she thinks i have a perfect happy life with no issues or stress and shes the only one that lives with those difficulties. thats one thing i really hate about her. and if i eventually CAN become a trainee or idol i will always remember you for helping me ❤️ thank you 😊

I’d say, continue to do monthly auditions. Try and get feedback. Try not to stress out too much. This should be something that makes you happy, so try to think of the positives

you can audition online without your parents knowing if you dont get in dont tell them if you get in tell them and if they dont want to its okay cuz the company is the one who gonna buy you a ticket to go to korea and you can have a dorm there if you have nowhere to go as it is many kpop idol"s parents didnt aprove of their career but now are so proud of them so dont loose hope im sure youll get in as for me im the same age as you and i can sing and rap but i dont speak korean the only that stops me is my religion im a muslim and its forbidden for me to becoom a singer in my religion
