Hi Rabeea, given the fact that the LLM application window opens almost a year before the actual start date for a fall class, and that the NCA assessment is reqd to take the courses accordingly while on an LLM, how could one plan for things if in the final year of LLB at the time of applying to a Canadian law school for an LLM? As I don't have the QLD (as a result of being a final year LLB student) at the time of applying for a seat on the LLM class of the next fall, is there a workaround on applying for an NCA assessment? Hello! This video was really helpful. I have completed my LLB from India. As per my NCA assessment report, they have asked me to complete law or JD from Canadian law school. They have not considered my law degree since the name of my college as appearing on the Bar Council of India list is not updated till the year of my graduation. When I asked NCA if I can complete LLM in Canadian law then will I meet the NCA requirements, they said that they will not issue a Certificate of Qualification on the basis of LLM.
