This talk has motivated me to get up at 6 to workout tomorrow morning instead of my regular evening workouts. I am alive, i am here to live, perfect, get better and grow stronger emotionally, physically and grow competent. I am here to face my fears and grow beyond that. I am aiming to continue loosing all my fears with each day as i target them everyday. Good night! ✅

I had crippling anxiety. For almost 2 years straight I would have panic attacks all day everyday. I would be panicking so much I would get disassociation and my senses would become really weird. At some points I couldn't see properly as if what I was looking at wasn't registering in my brain properly, I couldn't hear properly, people were talking to me and it sounded like they were just making funny noises, I felt like I was walking on cushioned ground and couldn't really feel my feet on the ground properly so was walking like I was drunk. I genuinely felt like I was going to die of heart attacks every day! The part of this video where he talks about facing the fear hit a chord with me because that's exactly how I got over my anxiety. Everytime I got my first panic attack of the day I would try to run from it and basically create more fear in my head. I would worry that I was going to end up feeling that horrible way where my senses got all screwed up again, which would ultimately cause that to happen. One day towards the end of this anxiety period, I was so fed up of it all I was ready to let it kill me and put me out my misery. I said into my self 'f*cking bring it on, give me your worst you c*nt' what happend next to me was amazing.... no more panic attack that day for the first time in almost 2 years. I had panic attacks try and creep up on me everyday for the next few months but I would use that same technique again 'give me your worst you c*nt' and the panic attacks were stopped in their tracks. 6 years later, every couple months or so, a panic attack tried to sneak up on me and I just laugh and challenge it and I've never had one beat me ever since! Bit of a lot story but I hope my advice works for anyone reading this. If you run, it'll chase you! If you turn and chase it, it will run from you!

 @Phineas Gage U got discord btw? I can provide a little more info. Now referring to the question, I have been doing some experiments online with the hard core 'femin4sts and thus far when I would treat them as a child on day one they would lose a tantrum but what is most important here is that I do not lose my frame by arguing back with the same level of energy rather remain stoic respond with logic and leave it at that. Day 2, she actually behaved, crazy right? I know and thus far I have been trying it on many KAM supporters too as well (also what I realize is that they don't actually know what is wrong or right they follow what is the loudest in the room). If u can come off as a logical stoic leader while treating them like children I think there's a way to get them to naturally follow u. Let me know ur take man and yes I mean anywhere, there is a way to do it, now I'm not sure if u still understand that's why I asked if u had discord so i could invite u to a server where others and I actually practice these ideas out. Let me know if u are interested.

All of these guys leave out Love. Love is real. True love is real. I’ve been married 23 years and wasn’t complete until I was married. I’ve been with multiple women before and after dating my wife. There’s an unexplainable union on the cellular level when we’re together. I know how dumb that sounds. I fought it for years before I settled down and married her. love is the one monkey wrench in these speeches.

Men should seek out physical competition with other men, and men should seek out to physically strengthen themselves. Our bodies are built for strength, and our physical strength is very closely linked to our mental health. Men were meant to be in competition with other men, and meant to be strong because we live in a physical world with physical challenges.
@billyin4c514
@billyin4c514 Жыл бұрын
It's not that no one cares that you're a victim, you'll actually find that people extend you compassion, and are angry on your behalf at the injustice that has been perpetrated against you. The hard part of life is that you need to find a way to not be a victim. If that means that there are people that are threatening towards you, or overtly disrespectful towards you you need to learn how to stand up for yourself whether that be through fighting, or through strongly fighting for your own interests. In other words don't be a doormat. We're certainly going to have things that happen to us that are outside of our control, what's inside of our control is that we focus on having good lives being strong people in the face of difficulty, and through that creating a good life for ourselves. People will be angry and indignant on your behalf, but you have to continue on with life, and you have to pursue life with strength and determination. The reason that it's bad to go around with the victim mentality, is that you're not your own advocate, and when life offers you opportunity you don't aggressively seek it out, you don't stand up you don't carry yourself forward into the world with confidence and determination. You could say I'm fat and be sad about the fact that you're fat, or you can get up and start running down the road. You can say I'm poor, and how unfortunate it is that I'm poor, or you can go to a job, stick your hand out to shake another man's hand and decide that you're going to improve your condition. You can't create a good life for yourself without the determination to be strong in the face of challenges. Here's the last thing that I have to say,. If you go around looking at your abilities as being Limited you've already robbed yourself of your own potential. If you go around defeated before you begin, you don't get to enjoy life as much. Yeah you could have been respected but you won't be, yeah you could have had a beautiful wife but you won't get one, yeah you could have had some money in your pocket and had a decent job but you won't have one, yeah you could have had a lot of joy and fruit of your own successes but you won't have them. This is often the plague of those who are impoverished, and this is the plague of people who see themselves as weak rather than strong. Get up go out into the world and look at the weaknesses that you have as your enemies, and seek to close those gaps.

My problem is one thing... yes, I have accepted that life is unfair and you gotta play the game with the stack you're dealt but what if you're gonna lose the game anyway no matter how hard you try (losing means not getting things that you wish for yourself)...What's the point in playing it? This is where I'm at in life...
@thepollardbull
@thepollardbull 3 жыл бұрын
If you don't get the things you wish that's your problem, not anyone else's. If you want something that you can never have then you need to re-evaluate your wishes, wants, or desires. You can come to the conclusion that the game itself is enjoyable. Otherwise there's always the coward's way out. If you can't learn or choose to enjoy the game of life then yeah, it looks pretty bleak. Adjust your current expectations to be more practical, set goals, get quick wins, all while keeping your dreams alive. Work towards them while doing meaningful work. What else can you do? Get all the junk and nonsense out of your life, clear your mind, empty your heart, and you'll see life is pretty entertaining and can be enjoyable even when things don't go your way. Don't get one-itis with a woman, don't bawl and cry if you don't get exactly what you want right now. Recognize that you can live an honorable, respectable life from where you are at by doing the best you can with what you've got, taking small steps repeatedly over time. Does the farmer get angry that he can't harvest crops in the springtime? No! He acknowledges the process and works hard through all the seasons. If famines or droughts come, so be it. You can't control that. Apply this metaphor to all areas of your life. You never know for sure what your women, children, or business associates will do. Don't become too attached; just know you stood up for you and confidently expressed yourself and you gave your best effort. Don't shortchange yourself. When other people do, that's their choice. Deal with it. You can always be proud of yourself even when other people don't go along with your plans. Life will never be fair though it will be responsive to you. Stop getting all stuck up in your head and put yourself out there. You'll miss all the shots you never take.
@Phil2Musashi
@Phil2Musashi 3 жыл бұрын
"What's the point in playing it?" I think this is an excellent question, and I hope you find a worthy answer. I don't know your condition or situation, and I don't know if I could help you if I did. However, I thought I could offer you my thoughts on your comment. You said that losing means not getting the things you wished for yourself. In other words, you are setting the standard for winning (getting the things you wish for), and for losing (not getting the things you wished for). If you are setting the standard yourself, then you can also change those standards. What else could you wish for? Even finding a goal is worthy goal in and of itself. You said "what if you're gonna lose the game no matter how hard you try?" If you really try your hardest, you will be transformed by time, effort, and the environment. Do you know how your efforts would change you? Could your efforts change you for the better? I will offer you one piece of advice that helps me when I am stuck. If you don't know what you want, or what you want is impossible, focus on what you DON'T want. For example, imagine a terrible thing that will or could happen to you, and start making a plan to counter it. Maybe you can prevent it from happening, or maybe you can reduce the harmful or negative effects of it when it eventually happens. What can you do to make sure your life does not become worse? I wish you well!

@@Phil2Musashi "Focus on what you DON'T want" is a great piece of advice. Was it inspired by Jordan Peterson's future authoring program?
@Phil2Musashi
@Phil2Musashi 3 жыл бұрын
@@thepollardbull Woah! The first two things I saw online today were your comment and a message from my girlfriend asking about the future authoring program! Strange coincidence! My advice was an amalgamation of things I learned from experience, Tim Ferriss, and Dr. Peterson. Tim Ferris had an interesting exercise to reduce anxiety, where you write out your fears in detail, and then make a plan to deal with them. This helped me start boxing. When boxing, I would only drink 2-3 times a year. After I quit boxing, I started to drink often. And drink a lot. At that time, I started to hate myself, and what I'd allowed myself to become. I decided to only drink cheap alcohol though, because I thought: "Future me will hate me for his hungover, but at least he will have money in his pocket." This is when I started to really abstract and see my future self as a separate entity that I could (and should) take care of. Whenever I had goals, it was so much easier to self-regulate. But my goals were always short-term, and when I had accomplished them, I was back in the swamp. Dr. Peterson made a video about what to do if you have no goals, and that really spoke to me. In it, he recommended taking time to observe your own thoughts and behaviors, and to imagine what would happen if you continued thinking and acting in this way over the course of months and years. I think he said that if we didn't like what we saw, and even if we can't make it better, then at least we can stop it from becoming worse. I took this advice to heart, and it has helped me. Along the way, new goals and new hopes and dreams have emerged that I didn't (couldn't?) imagine 2-3 years ago.

@Uncle Simp I do like the counterpoint to the red-pill movement. No need to create a new priesthood. There should be balance to all ideas. True colleagues appreciate a dialogue and challenge. There are plenty of victim-minded people in the red pill community complaining about things yet there are also plenty of valid stories and experiences we should consider. Red-pill vs. blue-pill is a false binary. Reality is far more nuanced. Tying stories to data and recognizable patterns of behavior would be fascinating and useful. If we're going to complain about something we have to be willing to change it! We don't change it by just disengaging or complaining. We have to go to the core of the fight or else we're a bunch of dishonorable cowards. Prove that wrong. We have to meet this head on, call things as we see them, and propose a vision of the future while being uncompromising on key details and being flexible on others. What else will work?

With John's recent video, I commend him for allowing this content to still air. I have seen a tainting and separation within the manosphere in the last few years. An insidious parasite infecting the mind of gurus and young 'black pill' 'MGTOW' men, forcing more division, separation and manipulation. Hopefully the path can be corrected.
