Franchise for mcdonalds can cost up too $2 million , half a million of that has to be ur own money , the rest can be a loan from bank or an investor. subway franchise cost is between $50,000 and $120,000, Thats why theres more subways worldwide

You need 100k in liquid cash and McDonald’s will give ya a loan for the buy. They take 21% of ya earnings with rent (percentage worked out for the average annual income for McDonald’s) and a extra 4.5% of turn over annually. On the high end a McDonald’s will typically make 450k/550k a year and on the low end round 40k/50k a year. If ya have a just under average place making 230k ya can pay 100k a year to ya loan payment from McDonald’s and pay 30k/40k too the turnover payments and rent. And still live extremely comfy making 90k net profit every year. After like 15 years ya paid off 1.5mil which is 100k over the average price. And remember that 100k ya started with? So ya end up paying 200k for a 1.5 loan over 15 years and when it’s all paid off? Ya got a extra 100k a year to play with. You end up with a net profit of 180k/190k after working for 15 years. That’s not bad. Investments over the years and boom. Ya a millionaire whithin 20/30 years.

look at the cost associated with owning a location you're not going to be making a lot of money. You're better off making your money in real estate either renting or leasing a property that's where the big money is. One McDonald's to become a franchise will cost you a million dollars. You could have bought a lot of property with that million dollars quadrupled your return on investment.

the one drawback is that all the equipment in the store is actually leased to the franchisees store. the company that exist now was stolen by Ray Kroc.

what is the cost? It was 250,000 K in 1970. That's all you need to know - can you put that capital to weork better - like buy the stock and sit back and put th dividends back into the stock.

What owner works in McDonald's,you wont find one . this is a fast infront of the camers. If they where successful in a past business than why is it ,we get missing food items ,poor service and over worked under payed kids. Why most kids to start with they have no previous experience at least employ adults who have past experience to be there to train kids and run a better restaurants. Face it most have a reputation because the owner dont even care about the coustomers or staff at all ...takes a big chunk of the poor kids pay for uniforms and hardly trains them only rostering them when it suits them .unrealistic a good boss is there running it smoothly with happy staff and customers... Face it McDonald's is a busines allowed to get away with cheap qulity rip off iteams mad by kids exploited to be the cash cow for the rich who dont give a dam.pretending they fund ppl yet claim it all back on the tax....
