@Simplenessless if you attend a Scrum.org training, like a PSM I class, you'll get a free attempt at the PSM I assessment. If you pass, you get the certification. If you don't pass, and this was within the 2 weeks after the class, you'll get a second free attempt. If you don't pass that second time, or if you tried the first attempt after 14 days, you'll have to buy other attempts at the assessment out of pocket.

Hi Hay, thanks for subscribing. I believe the SAFe certification can be beneficial if you would like to work in bigger organizations because this is what they usually implement. Of course, knowing the fundamentals of Scrum is first though. I am not a programmer, I don't have a degree in computer science, and I can only code in basic HTML. This did not prevent me from being a great Scrum Master and finding success in this career. Now, you surely are to meet developers who will have little respect for you because you are not a developer. I'd say - that's a "them problem", not a "you problem".
