How much money do KZfaqrs really make?
It’s an important question, because according to a recent study, becoming a KZfaqr is now considered one of the most desirable jobs in the world. And yet, some articles will tell you almost nobody is even making a living on KZfaq. But then, on the other side, some people talk about normal people becoming millionaires from their videos. So, what is the truth - how rich can you get from youtube?
In this video we’re answering how youtube ad revenue works, how much money you can make with youtube, and all the other ways some youtubers profit from their channel, including some monetization tricks you may wanna use yourself.
For example, I’ll be explaining how a video with less than 1000 views made me over $500, and yet a video with 10,000 views, made considerably less.
So, let’s delve into the truth about making money on youtube.
We begin by talking about how KZfaq ad revenue works - how do some videos make more money than others? Why do some creators get paid millions of dollars of ad revenue whilst other struggle to pay their bills?
To explain all of this, we'll be talking about CPM's and how google ads (youtube ads) work for both advertisers and creators.
However, making more youtube ad revenue is just the tip of the monetization iceberg. For the richest youtubers, ad revenue is NOT how they make most of their money...
And if you want to become a KZfaq millionaire, you're going to need to start thinking about KZfaq more like a business. And so in the rest of this video, we'll be exploring what a KZfaq business really means, and you yourself can start selling your own products or services to make more money.

Exactly, so many people wanna be a KZfaqr because is the "easy way to become millionaires", but once they start uploading content without good storytelling or technical knowledge they see is not that simple, the views are not coming, so they bail. To be honest, making a living on KZfaq takes much more work and learning than a lot of other jobs, is not as easy as many people think it is.

My channel feels more of a failure... I only uploaded these kind of shorts because that's what most kids that are playing Roblox likes otherwise I would say the shorts I upload are cringe. I used to make videos solely about natural hair/beauty but then I decided to lean into my profession as a lawyer and pivot to law/finance. I can definitively say, from personal experience, that everything in this video is true. My videos that are financial and legal in nature provide way more Adsense revenue than my natural hair/beauty videos. It sucks, because I love both topics, but from a purely financial perspective, it clearly makes more sense to lean into niches that ultimately make more money.

If it's only purely about money, I agree then it clearly makes more sense to lean into niches that ultimately make more money. But if you love what you do, I mean you love it so much that you don't earn anything from it (for now). You are really going to come up with strategies to make money.

Doing youtube as a teenager or young adult without any commitments is a great way to kick start making some extra money. As a parent or adult with lots of responsibility, it is really hard to juggle. It will take years to make money for most people. Let that sink in. Not saying don't start, but to be aware if the level of commitment needed to succeed on this platform.

I had to watch 20 similar videos to find all the content that you put into one video! Content wise-great overview of the topic and giving examples supported with amazing visual graphics/transitions/images/audio, etc. More importantly, fact & fun was combined to hold the audience's attention and gave it solid value: research was there, your storytelling/narration was on point, FIRE editing, & relative/eye-catching visuals, visuals, visuals...more than crazy & gimmicky effects or behaviors as done by others, etc. Viewers with channels have already commented on how solid/reliable/realistic this information was. Do not rely on KZfaq or any other single source for the majority of your income. They can and will interrupt, extort or shut you down.

CPM is one thing, however, what you need to know is that "Your Cut" amount is coming from the RPM. - That's the money you make after KZfaq takes their 45% cut and gives you the 55% difference.

It's all about the audience, even content is secondary. If you're making videos that people want to watch, then that content becomes king. Secondly, grabbing and understanding the demands of your audience is the hardest part. If you crack that code, then all things fall in place

HAHA you think what he just said, that is all you need to know to make "millions" in youtube? lol thats just a portion, there is so many things you need to have and learn beyond what this video has provided. this video is justice the raw ingredients of the best meal. you gotta know what to cook first, what tools to use and when, what ingredients need to have high or low temperature, where to to get these ingridients tc.

Thank you! These videos are made with Adobe suite, so yes you're right After Effects for the motion graphics, Adobe Premiere for the rest. You should be able to get a free trial if you wanna test it out yourself by using this link: magnates.media/editing 😁 However Canva is a great free tool too, so start with whichever is going to be easiest for you. The fundamental reason this channel does not get many views and subscribers despite its brilliant content, is because YT users are generally younger than 30 years old. Sadly, these "youngsters" believe they know it all and will simply not spend the time on actually getting to know stuff.

I'm 16 and I always watch educational videos like this most of the time. It depends on our interests so you guys don't need to worry because not all "youngsters" are bad, it's just that most of the time "youngsters" get mentioned on social medias it's because they've done something stupid.

unfortunately not true the demographics for the "youtube viewer" highly depends on the content i know plenty of channels that only get views from 30+ ages hell my channel had 25% above 65 years old and I never understood that so lots of variables and the viewer age goes from 1 to 85 years old but after about 65 it starts to fade because they dont know how to use the internet and stuff like youtube or they are happy watching CNN and the Prices Right too much hahaha

One thing that's worth mentioning, though, is that entertainment channels usually get more views than "niche channels". So if you compare the views of Mr Beast with any of the biggest finance youtubers (Graham, Meet Kevin etc), the difference is massive.

Good point that picking topics with the highest CPM does not necessarily equate to more money overall. Certainly MrBeast blows everyone out the water. Having said that, I'm not sure entertainment channels necessarily get more views. I agree they have a higher ceiling since almost anyone could watch them, but in my experience the niche topics can often do better than the really broad ones. And I'm very certain Graham Stephan, Meet Kevin etc are making a lot more money than a lot of entertainment channels that are bigger than them. But I do agree there's lots to consider and balance - and it's obviously not all about the money either. I'd never recommend someone make videos on more profitable topics if it's not the content they actually want to make. Good points though, and thanks for watching!

@@MagnatesMedia hey, thanks for the detailed answer :) Yeah, I only meant it in the way that in your video it kinda sounded with a vibe of "is it fair that niche topic views are paid better?", and my point was "getting 10k views on a niche topic is harder than getting 10k views on entertainment topics, because entertainment is appealing to virtually anyone, whereas each niche can only draw in so many people". So I wasn't comparing money in niche topics vs entertainment, I was just making the point that even the largest niche channels struggle to get, say 1 million views on their videos, whereas the largest entertainment channels consistently have vids over 10 million. Anywho, glad to see your content keeps getting better :)
