Different ways I would define these borders (will increase when the game gets older but not too drastically) Early to mid game border: Around 20 skill average Can solo t3 slayer bosses 1-tapping zealots Average at cata floor 1-2 Mid to late border Around 35 skill average Reliable in f5 and f6 Enough coins so you can always have booster cookie on Own most talismans 7 7 7 slayers Late to end border Good at f7, survive in M5 45 skill average Lvl 8 or 9 slayers and can slice through t5 bosses Using recombs and t6-t7 enchants not hurting your soul Note that these are just rough estimates of where I see the borders and just some examples how to define them. If you are focusing on some single thing, not all of the requirements might be necessary. I've left some things out because they would clearly fall in the middle of a stage, and endgame shouldn't be where literally only 100 people out of a million are at. Also if you see people using "this x is early game lmao" without giving reasons they either believed the video to be fact and not an opinion or they have a very shifted perspective after having reached late-game and not even considering about what the comment actually means when they spot some keywords. The majority of players isn't past midgame, yet many of thee late-endgame players try to make themselves look like a majority, intentionally or not

Honestly though, don't worry too much about in which part of the game you are according to people, just have fun and set your own goals to work towards. And if toxic try hard players call you bad don't listen to them.

This is a good guide, I revisited it after a couple months of playing, just to put things in perspective. I only have like 3.6k weight, and I feel like my slayers and some of my skills (farming/foraging/fishing) are holding me back, but I don't feel much incentive to do much besides f7. I hope that if I just play casually with some times where I grind I can progress, but I don't want to throw away too much time on this game.

I have a system that I use only with myself, a personal weight system. Basically just looking at one thing and judging wether or not it's early, mid or late game for that one specific thing. I'm trying to get to endgame mining level but I don't have endgame mining gear. That sort of stuff. I like to think it helps me stay organized and not just because I like categorizing things to the max.

I think full SA with LD and FOT is mid game while full dragon with aotd is early game, full Necron/Storm with Hype/Valk is late and max skills with bones and just generally maxed out is endgame (deathstreeks, swavy, refraction)
