That's really not an option when we barely understand how most meds even work. Dosages have to be calibrated and sometimes meds stop working, or the side effects make the med not worth taking. Ultimately individuals are responsible for their own mental health, and if you stop taking your meds without a plan to change them out with something else or monitor your reaction...that is on yourself. People need to stop treating mental illness as a get out of jail free card. Marcus Parks said it best, "mental illness isn't your fault, but it is your responsibility." It's very very hard a lot of the time, but plenty of people stay on their meds and sober regardless. It's just the handful that don't that make waves online.

There are some long-acting injections, and there are some that are a patch that is connected to an app, and the pill has a matching chip in it. You swallow the pill, and after an hour it communicates with the bluetooth in the patch which then logs with the app that you've taken the medication. Why not just go from pill to app? IDK.

Just to clarify, a wagging tail doesn’t mean the dog is friendly. It means it’s excited. Dogs will wag their tails while they are actively attacking because they are excited.

Yeah, it's scary how many people don't know that. I'm a behaviorist and I specialize in rehabilitating dogs deemed legally dangerous and aggressive in my tricounty area that end up with animal control, and the number of folks who are like, "He just attacked me out of nowhere! He was just standing still and wagging his tail and everything!" It's like they've never met a dog before. Cops are some of the worst at it, too, and even friendly dogs can be uncomfortable around law enforcement since their owners are giving off stress signals. If the owner says the dog has a bite history, *believe them.*

I had a neighbor just like this. She called the cops all the time saying there were people living in her attic…there wasn’t. They finally routed her number to a crises hotline whenever she tried to call 911. When her house went up for sale, we all rejoiced. It’s been so quiet since the wonderful new neighbors moved in!
