It’s funny, so many of Larry’s photos have become my backgrounds on computers and phones over the years, seeing them all together here has made me very nostalgic. He is just a cut above the rest. Thank you Larry Chen!!

I remember Larry’s SpeedHunter days and you could just tell his talent was on a different level. So glad such a hard working guy has found success and acknowledgement.

You guys dont miss. You can do car reviews, weekly car news or a short documentary/interview with a photograpther and theyre all amazing.

It's weird how many people don't know Larry Chen, but there's a 100% chance they have a car picture that he took. Followed him since 2013 on a forum and still following him. Mad respect to Carfection for telling his story with himself 👍

Larry Chen is the premiere car culture photographer globally , i have yet to see anyone else in over 30 yrs as a race fan capture moments like Larry can, he is someone that young car culture photographers can aspire to 👍

Larry is not only one of the best photographers on earth, but a wonderful human as well. I'll never forget him inviting me to my first drift event in 2011 (drove up in my MX-5) and him passing us on the highway, hanging out the window to shoot a photo of us driving, right in front of California Highway Patrol. Legend.

Until now I didn't know who he was now I'm kinda hyped to look through all his work. I'm late getting into cars but the more I find out the more I'm seeing what a fantastic worldwide culture it is!

I've been an Automotive photographer for about 7 years now. Started with my phone in 2014. Now with alot more professional equitment. I hope to become like Larry one day!

Been a fan of Larry's since the early SpeedHunters days, and his photos always stuck out to me the most. They still do. It's only fitting he's become the most prolific and respected automotive photographer in the world, his work ethic and talent are second to none.

This was a very, very good video celebrating an incredible man. I've followed his work for as long as I can remember and have long considered him to be one of the hardest working people I have ever known of, and yet it is super rare to see him without a smile on his face. He is an inspiration. I especially loved the clip around 10:00 where he is deep in conversation with that young lad about his camera in the middle of an event without so much as a hint of elitism or arrogance, we could all learn a lot from his eagerness to share his knowledge and experience. The part where he was commenting on the costs and compromises of his work to his health and home life really hit me too, its something all too easy to overlook from both sides of the fence. I hope he finds the time to slow down a bit soon! Anyway, I'm looking forward to watching this video again - well done Carfection! And Larry - you're a legend.

Automotive photography at a high level is one of the least documented subjects! kudos to Carfection.

So prior to FD Seattle this year I knew little to nothing about him and FD so I bought a ticket snd the photography experience. In the hour or so I shot with him on track I learned SO much about what I was doing wrong and learned so much about what kind of shot to be looking for. Not to mention his high energy was great to help with the stigma that ya know it was Larry Chen standing there in front of us

Been following Larry for a few years now and he’s the real reason I got into automotive photography. I’m so grateful that I stumbled across him.

He is such an inspiration to so many photographers and videographers.

His photos are so well composed and he deserves to be a tutor, mentor and a role-model for people trying automotive photography. I know he inspires me to make better photos, even though I am no pro and take photos only for myself.

Beside being undoubtedly the best automotive photographer ever, he seems like a really cool and nice guy. I've been a fan for quite a long time now. It's nice when someone who's usually behind the lens capturing the stories we love through photos and videos is given the chance to be in front of it and tell us his. Cheers Larry! As someone who has been following his work on Speedhunters all the way back to 2008, he has opened my eyes to all the incredible and amazing things the automotive world has to offer. His insights and ability to tell a story through pictures, articles and now videos has influenced my love for cars, and motorsports specifically. I am so grateful for all the work he has put out, and couldn't be more ecstatic to see the love and attention he has been getting .

Larry Chen also took photos on 2015 in D1 Grand Prix last round in Odaiba Japan in 2015 including Daigo Saito Lamborghini Murciélago Drift car, Yuichi Imamura OTG Lexus LFA drift car, and Vaughn gittin Jr Mustang.
