Hi Dennis, how do you become less interested in your symptoms and thoughts without avoiding or ignoring them? In other words, how do you process them in a healthy way instead of having that worry cycle?

this is the first time I feel understood about my health.....I wake up everyday being sure something is deeply wrong with my health and that every doctor I have seen this year (plenty of them) are wrong and they are not finding the illness I convinced myself I have.....I even think I'm really close of dying because of that, it's amazing how our mind controls everything in us.... thank you for this.

I felt the same way this time around, I have been reconditioning my mind that been calm is OK and is what is natural, it feels bad when you start to calm down as anxiety kicks in, but once you actually face that sensation and relax, you will start feeling better. The worst thing is the fear. His videos and program have been helping me a loot. Like he says, practice and repetition when the situation arises is what makes change. Blessings and hope you are better now 😊

this is the one, stay confident, let the thoughts be dont fight them but let them pass dont stay interested or surfing the web, dont chase the ego of looking for attention. be mindful and more involved and busy, and fear of something that has already happened is silly laugh at it because the worse has already happened. You can get through it, allow yourself to attack fear and realize your mind is playing trick nothing is wrong.

FIrstly let's understand that stress is a reaction to something external most of the time, anxiety many times can be brought on by your unconscious perceiving a threat when one doesn't exist. Being with friends and practicing mindfulness is important and works, but to overcome anxiety we must understand that an elastic band is your best friend. When you find yourself ruminating over fears, doubts, symptoms of anxiety, a quick snap of the elastic band will help to break a pattern. After once you've caught your fears in the initial waves you can begin challenging them, seeing them for what they are, an illusion or a possible made up outcome that hasn't and most likely won't come true. After it's a matter of replacing this with a brand new thought which in turn will become your belief. Snap (catch the thought), challenge the thinking pattern, replace the thought. Time wise it truly depends on the commitment to the process, as well other factors come into play of course such as length of suffering and more. www.anxietyexit.com is a great resource that can help you further.

my biggest fear is leaving my wife behind after death, being blind, tumors in my neck, and not being able to pay bills. I took zoloft for almost twenty years and stopped about 3 months ago with no problem. In the last month, all of these fears have come back worse than ever. I have RA which does not help the hypochondria side of things either. Everything feels empty and pointless. I feel like i will be dead soon and the world will just roll on without me which i know is the one true factor in all of these worries. anyway, thank you for the podcast.

I always think about that if my health anxiety is gonna last till my last breath! Is it gonna be with me life time? Or is it curable! Please tell me and make this confusion go away! I had my 1st panic attack almost 1 and a half months ago then another one came after 20 days! And from past 19-20 days i am okay! There are no panic attacks! I feel sensations i think about this thing so much! Sometimes i feel i am okay! I watch motivational videos, it gives me chills! I keep saying in my head that i am gonna fight this thing! I am overthinking alot and i think i am screwing myself! And there is some changes i made! When i wake up in morning i drink 2 glass of water empty stomach! I feel good! I keep on peeing the whole day! My water intake is on peak! Whenever a thing pops in my head i say to myself i will face it when it happens why i am screwing myself right now!! I meditate twice a day for 15 minutes! I feel good! Now i think alot less then before i am more positive now! But i wanna end this thing straight up! I feel happy the whole day then suddenly there are NATs that this thing is gonna last forever! And i get anxious! I am not searching my symptoms anymore! I just watch your videos i feel good! I don’t think now that i have a mental illness or i am about to have a heart attack! i don’t think about these things now! But tell me dennis that is this thing gonna last with me forever?!

Saransh Aggarwal Thing is Health Anxiety doesn’t just go away. There are memories stored and habits done that continue the cycle, sometimes for decades for people. A method that can begin the process of desensitization is crucial, this program will help you: anxietyexit.com/my-program/
