Nice. Over the years I have made and repaired several steel charcoal ring kilns used in English coppiced woodlands and have always had to re-use the top rings. These are made from angle iron with 3-inch webs. If I could scale this up, I could make a ring...... Thanks for posting.

Good job. Yes, it would be nice to have some propane and oxygen to get it 100% but 80% is often good enough.
