Probably not, It might be an issue with the internal BEC not being able to support the power demands of your servo of choice. It is recommended to rebind every time as well as recalibrate and re-center the steering servos. For radios that accept multiple models you would need to look for a radio with model memory.

I love that your question made me think really hard. I think your gyro must have a third connector with one wire in it. That third connector is your gyro's remote gain adjustment. If you have a 2 channel radio or if your 3 channel radio isn't set up properly, the gain is either turned all the way up or all the way down. So what is happening is when you turn on your radio the signal gets to the receiver it causes your trouble. You can test my theory by unplugging that third connector and if it solves the issue we are on the right track. If you have a three channel radio you need to go trough your radio's set up and program your third channel to a switch with a linear adjustment. This way you can set up your gyro gain to your liking from the radio. If you have a 2 channel radio just leave that gyro unplugged and use the trim pot on the gyro. I will see if I can get a video in the queue for the gyro I have in my YD-2 to help you out.

The receiver only has memory for one radio at a time. You will need to rebind the radio and recalibrate the esc every time you want to switch the radio.

The process should be the same for the receiver but there is a bind button on that transmitter next to the on/off switch that you need to hold while turning on the transmitter.

@@Hobby365 I did hold the bind button while turning on the transmitter then the receiver stayed solid green then the esc just beeped and blinked fast

@@coreymartin6087 Ohh I see. Most ESC's have a failsafe mode that if the ESC sees a throttle input when it its powered on it goes to flashing and beeping instead of throttling out of control. I think you need to re-calibrate your esc to the radio.

There are 2 different sr315 receivers. So you need to look at the side of the receiver to see what modulation that receiver supports. Once you know the modulation you can look at the transmitter specs to see if it matches the modulation.

Hi there! First hold the bind button on the receiver when you power it on. Then hold the bind button under the trim knobs while you turn on the radio. That will put the radio into bind mode and they will bind.

If you have steering but no throttle. Then this will not help you. You will need to search a video on calibrating your esc as a next step.

You need to flip the steering reverse switch on the radio. On the computer radios it is under the servo setup menu. On a regular radio it is a switch on the back of the radio.

You are the second person today that recalibrating the radio might solve the issue. I had one scheduled for tomorrow but have just published it try kzfaq.info/get/bejne/mMechMKFycqWnIU.html. Before you try that put some fresh batteries in the remote. I hope this helps you.

Double check the side of the receiver and make sure it has a sticker that says both SLT and DSM.

@@Hobby365 This transmitter came with the truck and was originally bound to the receiver. I bound it to my DX5C and now I can't get it to rebind to the SLT3.

@@georgebowen2161 sounds like you may have a bad receiver.

Depending on its age you may not have a dual protocol receiver. in that case you would only be binding to the DSM radios.

Make sure your sr315 receiver is in fact a dual protocol. There should be a sticker on the side of the receiver indicating that it is. If it turns out that it is a dual protocol receiver then make sure what ever power supply you are plugging in is fully charged. Low battery levels can cause failed binding. If all else fails then you might have a bad receiver.

If this is a brushless model try recalibrating the ESC. kzfaq.info/get/bejne/Y65_dLNknbyccmQ.html
