The mini/micro Receiver i used is now discontinued . im no expert but any 5v sbus receiver should work wired as sbus - the spare wire i show is for PPM

It's a really beautifully painted little plane! She's a little smaller than the eachine Volantex warbirds p51 f4u and t28 but I'm happy they can be bound up to the radiomaster. I'll still buy this p40 it looks like it Flys quite well as long as you use rudder in the turns you were saying anyways another great flight my friend and I'm waiting for you to maiden some larger eflight planes like the turbo timber evolution and the valiant 😀 your friend Marty from Canada 🇨🇦🛩🛩

Don't be fooled by the wingspan like me I wish compared them in the video cause its the same size as eachine p51 and definitely bigger than the Corsair and and has the thickest fuselage

You can also directly bind it using multi protocol V119s E119

Just ordered this P40. Sorry for the noob question but did you change the receiver or was it just that this model didn't come with a receiver fitted? Thank you for the info.

Very nice just remember it doesn't turn good have to use rudder to. And to bind to this with any radio you need a mini receiver and the receiver I used is discontinued so I buy a new Flysky FSA8S mini receiver and its working better. I going to do a video of it soon

@@blowy48flyrc Your link is "discontinued" on Banggood mate. Also Bald Eagle 1 was asking about Flysky not the FrSky you have used. If he has an FS-i6XorFS-i6S then an FS-A8S will work but if he has an FS-i6 (which can't be set to S-bus output) he will need 1 of the more expensive receivers that do the PWM to S-bus conversion onboard. Edit! Actually the A8S CAN be used with the basic FS-i6 since it must have its own S-bus convertor on board the receiver.

Good day..sir where did you buy the micro receiver?? I have X6 transmitter from XK. I have also XK A210 T-28. I try to bind the plane in to the X6 transmitter but it doesn't work.

You will need a multi module Radio 4 in 1

For anyone else who is wondering about this. You can buy a 4 in 1 module that plugs into the back of the Flysky i6x radio that will allow you to fly WLToy planes. You have to use the gimbals to program the radio as you turn it on to select the right p[rotocol. You get instructions on different methods to select different protocols. But if you was to use the Flysky reciever as shown above then you don't need to purchase this 4 in 1 module. Also I am lead to believe but have not tried it. If you update your Flysky ix6 radio to OpenTX and you have the module plugged in. You don't have to use the gimbals to select the protocol. The protocol can be selected through the radios settings. You would need a spektrum satellite receiver to hook into the DSMX satellite port. Note, there is a difference in dsmx and other satellites in that the dsmx requires 3.3V while some others require 5 V. Make sure you get the right plug or you might damage your satellite receiver.

Anychance you know if a micro frsky xm sbus receiver would work in this plane. It has 3 wires on the sbus receiver any help would really appreciate it

It probably will. But mine came with the wrong xm software version so the receiver wouldnt connect to my old Jumper T8SG multiprotocol. So instead I used a Flysky receiver www.aliexpress.com/item/4000906961623.html?spm=a2g0o.order_list.0.0.7e9218025UJ3ti. It binds fine to the older Jumper multiprotocol transmitters for anyone still rocking those :) Sbus signal in is the socket and wire closest to the plane's tail, +5V in the middle and ground towards the propeller.

@@impuls60 thanks 👍. That one is for a flysky. I have a beta85x drone with a xm micro receiver and it works using my frsky xlite pro as it's got the d16 software installed, so I don't think it needs a mulitprocal module kind regards

Nope. But if you add an S-FHSS S-bus satellite (like the 1 used for the E119 heli) you'll be good to go. 😉

It should if you use a Flysky Receiver as listed in the description above. I have a Flysky I6x and one of those receivers and as soon as I get some time. I am going to set my Rare Bear up like this.
