Exactly what I was looking for. Been thinking about blackening the lower portion of my Heritage Softail windshield, now I see thats the perfect way to do it. Thank you for making this video.

I did this and all I can say is THANKS I have an orange Sabre vt1100 and it had an ugly blue shield on it, the finished product was 100% more aesthetically pleasing!

This looks great. I am slowly customizing my Boulevard and I think this would be a great addition. Thank you for the DIY video. Have you ever tinted the entire windscreen so it was darker, but still able to see through? WS considering doing that as well, just not sure how to proceed.

How does it hold up over time? I want to fix the black under my trucks windshield will this work on glass, I heard it will come off after a Few months.

The flat black looks glossy on the other side..have you ever used gloss black?if so what was the outcome. I really want to do this on my bike any suggestion on what kind of paint ?would be appreciated ..

matthew reed The flat black does look glossy I never tried gloss black but I’m sure it would probably look the same I like to use Krylon tough coat flat black. Thanks for watching

@@boneyardgaragesmallenginer188 I'm concerned about paint deteriorating the windscreen over time and how long it lasts without flaking or peeling. Did you consider a clear coat to protect it? It does look shiny from the fron. I assume that's the plexiglass and would do the same for any color?

Bill Friesen I did mine about five years ago and it still looks just as good as it did when I painted it. I didn’t use clearcoat because it was the inside of the windshield didn’t think it was necessary

tomasfiester I seen people do tail lights on cars with window tint I think it will stick just fine.
