FINALLY a girl who doesn't bleach her hair twice in one day. Guys seriously, that's really bad for your hair and can blister your scalp. You take better care of your hair than 90% of DIY hair video girls on youtube. And you can tell too. (notice her hair is silky and other DIY girls are usually matted.. it's because their hair is fried.)

I have pastel hair and i need to go a white blonde. Of course this doesn't happen in one time, so i have to bleach it twice. How long should i wait in between the 2 times? :) x

lace and leather About 4 days - a week should be good. Deep condition while you're in between bleaching days. Honestly the least I've waited was 2 days and was still happy with my results. I wouldn't recommend it though or do it that soon again. (The normal rule though is to wait a week)

I agree. However I have made the mistake of bleaching my hair three times in one weekend. It became elastic, like chewing gum, and fell out in patches. Not a great look.

Yay I loved your video! Thank for doing a root video. Have you tryed using t18 from wella with 20vol to tone the yellow after instead? The pravana does work but I would use that 2nd if any yellow tones are kinda left. Wella t18 leaves hair white!!

I used cooling violet wella toner ,but i like how you use the conditioner with that gel toner ,instead of developer ,but i want to dye my hair with the ion rose pink and that is a temporary color,so what shoukd i do since my hair is the cooling violet.

Oh my! i never knew you could tone your hair like that!, that's pretty amazing, i wont be afraid to do mine now! And also to correct the gold tones you could add Ardell's "Corrector Plus" (also bought sally's) to your dye, i'm not sure if you have used it by now but it really helps :)

You have inspired me to go full baby pink with my hair, so first off, thank you very much!! I love the color I have achieves with Pravana Pretty in Pink but I am worried about long term cost and I have had trouble finding Sparks in Vancouver. I am curious how often you re-dye your hair pink. I have watched all your videos and you mention that you touch up the color whenever it starts to fade but no actual time frame. Can you share how many times a month you dye your hair pink? I am trying to decide if I want to commit to this more than for just 2 weeks :) Love your stuff. Keep it coming

hi i have bleached blonde hair with roots coming through, now wanting to dye light brown what do you think? my natural hair colour can go that light without bleaching (have done before) so will it go to an even colour by itself or should i bleach the roots ? i was thinking highlights/lowlights might look cool but unfortunately it would only be the roots as lowlights.

That purple stuff is a toning? I'm trying to get this color has 2 months and I totally give up on my hairdresser which makes it horrible. I did get lighter a lot and better off at home, but stills a little brassy and the hair doesn't get the color :(

i doubt anyone will reply but- i have balayage/ dip dyed hair (its brown with blonde balayage) however i did it myself and did it closer to the roots than normal. it took two boxes of bleach and toner (the brand bleach london). should i follow the steps on the video but use the same ammount of bleach i used on my ends? or one set of bleach at a time again?

Every time you bleach your roots do you have to take out your tape ins? I want to get tape in hair extensions but my hair is white and the roots need to be touched up every month and a half or so. Do you just do it all together? Bleach roots and re tape extensions?

Heyooo! When you say you re-applied the pink did you do your whole head again or did you just super condition the pink out? This is so beautiful!! I was just curious, but I am an athlete, and I was wondering how much upkeep this really is. I have always wanted colorful hair, but I was always cautious about it being too much work! Often times I don't even have time to apply makeup, as I have to run from practice straight to classes. I'm thinking I might try to bleach my hair myself but I'm a little scared... I'm definitely due as it was probably... late July or early August when I got spoiled to go to the salon. Ever since I moved away from my mom (a hairstylist) I've been getting really bothered whenever I need bleaching to upkeep my pink... people say it looks cute/like a dip dye when my roots get longer but I don't like having dark hair! wow your hair looks amazing. i am going from dark to really light blonde and and i will tell u its so hard. i was so afraid to bleach my roots because i thought it was going to burn so i left them black lol. i really wanna finish the process though. any advice?? does bleach burn if it touches the scalp? btw i used 40 vol. all over my hair. tombraidergurl1002 To get the nicest pink you need your roots to be a pale yellow. I mean, if you are doing a darker pink your roots might take to a darker pink, kinda depends on the look you're going for. If you decide to bleach, you'll have to tone, yes!

I really hope you r ply to me, so my hair is black too I can use exactly what you used or not ? Because I have absolutely no idea how to bleach my hair plus if I want to bleach it myself I have to order the products from Amazon or so, or should I go to the salon and let them do everything, I don't really trust them because the last time my hair got really damaged, so if I'm doing it myself I don't have anyone to blame you know !!! Asmaa Al.abdulgader go to a nearest sally beauty supply store they have salon quality stuff but decent pricing you can get it there easily I go there for almost all my hair coloring stuff if not then you would order stuff online with Sally's or amazon eBay whatever you use.. you can use any bleach powder its just that there's certain ones for how much lift you want to get in your blonde color so make sure to read the labeling for that
