I do both because when I bleach first I always end up scorching the tee and then I have to use the peroxide to bright it back up.

Hello 👋 great question and I do wash all together in warm water. I wash as soon as the bleach dries otherwise it will be like adding the bleach to the water snd will get in places you don’t want. Lol Now if it’s cold outside I will bring them in and let sit until the next day. Obviously the sun dries them a lot faster. Thanks for watching. 👋

I use Koala mostly on my bigger images and Asub for the smaller ones. I had issues with scorching in the beginning that’s why I started to sub first. I also try to use at least 50% polyester count and my go to shirts whenever possible are the Gildan Soft style 65/35

I use A-sub 125g. I'll have to try the subbing after. The bleach doesn't effect the color after subbing?

@@anamelendez-dejesus8337 this video shows my subbing first followed by bleaching and you can see how the colors are still very vibrant. Then you have to wash to get the bleach out. The end picture is after having been washed. The more poly the more your picture you’ll have. If your only getting 50 % polyester count your only going to have 50% of the ink from the picture. The ink only adheres to the polyester material all other it’ll simply wash away when you wash for the first time.

Thank you, in this video I believe they are the Gildan soft style in Heather. They are the ones that bleach white. This shirt designing is called sublimation and requires a special sublimation ink and a printer that can be converted into a sublimation printer. It’s very easy if your knowledge is even halfway good at working with programs on the pc or Mac as I have. Lots of fun but it’s just a hobby for me. But people make lots of money designing and selling tee shirts. It’s a really big thing.

Yes they are the G640 any of the Heather colors, indigo blue, purple, navy, the red heather is more of a pink. Heather Irish Green just to name a few.

Sure I let them completely dry in the sun otherwise the bleach will run in the wash. I use very little detergent in the wash with warm water to rid the bleach smell on a quick wash.

They are cutouts for tees, I buy them at the Hobby Lobby for 1.99 They work great!

If I bleach I will wash right after to get the bleach out. Then sublimate.

Yes it’s sublimated ink.

Honestly I don’t use peroxide at all the only time that I found that I needed to use the peroxide was when I bleached first and then sublimated and the heat turned my bleach yellow so that was the only time that I use the peroxide. I don’t use peroxide at all if I am bleaching and my shirts are out in the sun I just let them dry in the sun

When I am bleaching outside with the sun I let them dry out there and from there they go straight to the wash I use very very little mild detergent it just enough to get the bleach out and then I sublimate over that

Just regular Clorox bleach

400 for 60 seconds

This party shirt the Gildan soft style I leave the bleach on until it dries completely then I throw it in the wash. But I’ve heard that you really have to watch the Bella Canvas they get holes easier. With those I would stop the bleaching process as soon as it whitens by spraying with peroxide. That neutralizes the process and then can go in the wash immediately. Just spray it real good. I’ve never used any other shirts besides the Gildan myself

@@RetiredGranny it's just a Samsung regular small one

@@merryg3774 on my Mac I pull up my image and then at the top I go to tools click on that. There you can mirror you image ( flip Horizontally) and adjust size. I adjust everything starting with width at 12.5 and if the height allows because I have a 15x15 heat press I will take it up a notch little by little. Until both are as close to the 15 as I can get. Then click okay. NEXT you go to file and hit Print. A menu should show up thst shows paper size mine by default is always on 8.50 by 11 so it has to be adjusted every time to either the 11x17 or 13x19 then look at it in the preview before you hit the print button. Since you’ve changed the paper size that’s what it’ll look like on your paper. Try that Lastly you can also check the scale To the right of the scale button should be a number such as 89% or 100 % that can be adjusted to fill your paper as well for shrink the image. I know it’s a lot use your phone do you can follow along. I hope this helps all your using is the program that’s on your laptop no other.

Are you using the Heather shirts? Only Heather will work. And safety colors will not bleach either.

@@sharonfreeman1173 no problem 😌 I buy shirts on Jiffy and All Day Shirts Also the Dollar General carry the Gildan brand 60/40 I made two just last night for Mardi Gras they cost 6.00 each but if you need just one or two for sublimation they are excellent in a pinch.

What kind of shirts are you using?

You might have vertigo

You can still beach without the sun but the sun helps to bleach faster. Black bleaches orange. The only shirts I have found that bleach a nice white are the Gildan soft style I hear that some Bella Canvas do but people have many issues with that material being very thin and the bleach making holes.

@@kiwi73703 no problem 😌 you cannot do sublimation on black. It’s like trying to draw a picture on a black piece of paper. You also cannot sublimate white as there is no while ink. But you can sub on a white tee or sweater and the fabric acts as the white ink. 🤷🏽‍♀️

It’s just bleach that’s all.
