This is really cool. I have a passion for art and i want to do art but my parents don't buy me the medium I need. This is like one of the many reasons why I like art class. There, you can use basically anything and you are allowed to draw, paint, etc anytime u like with no distractions or roadblocks. Plus, my art teacher gives you really useful tips too :D
@smokefire_69732 жыл бұрын
exactly but you don't always need the most expensive art supplies to do this! just practise an patience :)

Prismacolors are a good price and aren't really that expensive and if you like a cheaper alternative try cra-z-art or castle art color pencils
@Sarah-said Жыл бұрын
@@dreamidiaries If you or your parents are poor then Prismacolor pencils are incredibly expensive! I'm happy that you or your parents have that kind of money but when you or your parents make minimum wage you would have to work 20 hours to afford the big box of Prismacolor pencils and you can't get a job that will even let you work 40 hours of work a week (this is very common with low income jobs because most employers have to pay a bunch of money so that you can have insurance -which they usually have to offer you when you work 40+ hours a week so they won't usually allow you to work 40 hours a week. You also have to remember that when you're working class poor than almost every dollar that you make has to go to pay for a place to live and food to eat and clothes. Most teens that have poor parents have to work so that they can help their parents pay for food and housing. I'm not trying to sound mean to you but you really should know that more people in America have low income than any other type of income. It shouldn't be that way but rich people pay to elect politicians who will keep most people in or close to poverty. 🕊️

Ask your parent if you can do extra chores for money for art supplies. See if you can do work for your neighbors, especially with it being summer. See if you can babysit, walk dogs, mow lawns or clean yards, houses or cars, take out trash or run neighborhood errands and such. Make sure that your parent(s) know what you are doing, where you are going and who you are talking to. Always be safe, there's a lot of bad people who might hurt you and you would never think that they would do it. Also, when you go back to school nicely ask your art teacher if when they have left over art supplies or nearly gone or all used up supplies (like really short colored pencils and such), if the teacher will save it for you instead of throwing it away. You could also offer to come in at lunch or before or after school to help clean up the room for those nearly used up supplies. Good luck to you! 😊

@@Sarah-said Actually my parents are poor but we bought it on Amazon once a year and my dad is disabled so he bought it one time. I barely use them so I can save them Prismacolor is less expensive than most of those other colors of pencil brands like Caran d'ache, Faber Castel, Derwent light fast colored pencils, and Holbein. I only have the 72 sets and I only buy them once a year also sales help Amazon has helped me a lot. 150 set is expensive but if you live on your own you have time to save up. I'm older this is my first time owning a 72 set and even then you really don't need the 150 sets of color pencils. If you work at a decent top you can buy it once a year even with a low income that's not every person though. Teenagers can get jobs now most teens I know have jobs and can save up. It's not hard to get a low-income job knowing they even raised the income a little. If people ask you what color pencils are better then you would want the least but less pricey option. Which are Prismacolor the 72 set is $56-58 dollars on Amazon and they sell them less on some websites for 50 dollars in the tin set. The wood takes up most of the price and art supplies have always been expensive sometimes you have to think about it. And if you want it find ways to save up and get it or do side jobs. I'm a huge save-up type of person even pennies or change save it or a $1.
