How to Blend Decoupage Papers with Paint

Decoupage papers are never the exact size we need! So lets grab some paint and watch how to blend the outside edges for a flawless finished look on your furniture or decor pieces!

Ms. Ellen. You have no idea how I need to hear perfection is not all that. I struggle with perfecting my crafts, and I get overwhelmed and shut down. Then I won't do art for several months. I searched on KZfaq, "How to blend paint?" Your channel popped up. It was God that needed me to hear what you had to say. I have to stop beating myself like Mike Tyson and Holly Field. Lynne, I’m just beginning to use decoupage papers so this tutorial was much needed. I have always been afraid to use decoupage papers that do not fit my frame or canvas exactly because of the dreaded edges. Not knowing or having the knowledge of how to blend or extend the ARTIST work has always been an issue for me until now. Thank you so much for sharing this video. I've learned more from this short tutorial then from watching all the other ones.

Ellen, I paint roses with acrylics paints. Do you know if I can decoupage the actual painting ( if I use water paint paper) to the actual item? I can’t get this question answered?

I think you’d need em to create an actual photo file of your painting and then have it printed to a size that you could decoupage
