This is the best DIY video for how to do a simple blend/fade that I have seen so far on KZfaq. And I've seen well over 100. All the rest are these" professional " barbers kissing themselves in the mirror, not knowing how to teach one bit. This video was easy to follow along to and helped me alot. @@lorcanzo2498 good! I’ve been cutting my hair ever since. I have a 3 way mirror and a cordless wahl clipper. My usual fade is 0.5, 1, 2, 3 on sides/back and I’ll scissor cut the top, which took practice haha

hey alex, i've been watching your videos for some time. and i'm glad you're still posting videos. AN,D, i also wanna thank you for changing you video format a little, like slowing down and explaining which guard and what position the lever is in and showing it. it helps ALOT. the previoujs videos went a little too fast for me, and i had to rewatch a lot of it to understand what i should be doing. so thank you for that. i hope you're staying safe

Hey Alex, could you explain, how you would do the cut and especially the fading, if you got a trimmer with three combs and a seamless setting of the cut length e.g. a Phillips 7000 trimmer. That one has no lever 🤷🏼‍♂️

I think this is the best fade you have done on yourself. But can i do fade with a clipper that dont have a lever? My machine has digital from 07mm to 40mm cutting size.

Why do you dip your guideline lower in the back? Whats the difference when you make your guideline even height around the head?

For the person that put the dislike... I don't know what your doing with your life.... The guy putting so much effort to teach ppl how to do one of the things that most ppl find complicated.... And most ppl dont even know that it is possible to cut ur own hair..... I was one of them... Until I saw alex's videos... Pretty much so evey single video and some I even repeated them coupla times to get his technique right and now I'm cutting my own hair thanks to alex... And specially this video I been looking forward to it cos it's really hard blending the top to the sides specially that I don't have thinning shear.... So really well done bro much appreciated. keep it up man 👏👏
