It can be difficult sometimes to work with watercolors as they tend to behave on their own, but it is not impossible to control them. It can be quite difficult to blend them as well, that's why in this video i showed you I showed you how to blend watercolors easily without any harsh lines and how to create a smooth transition from one color to another color.. For shading like this please use a flat brush,it colors evenly also for watrcolor painting a thick material paper can be used for those asking. Brusto watercolor paper is a good choice.

This was really helpful!! I needed it right now. A small doubt.. What if I'm using a regular A3 size sheet and have no access to paper especially designed for water colors.. Can I still damp it before painting?

If you damp it then the paper might disintegrate and start to peel, better to use watercolor paper

Do the same technique for 3 colours.. for example, if you use yellow, green and blue, try to mentally divide the paper into 3 equals and start painting with yellow and blend it with green, then blend green with blue..
