Are you getting a lot of calls from unknown callers with "No Caller ID". You may want to block these calls because you cannot possibly identify the number of a caller before answering. These calls may also be labeled as Anonymous, Private, or Blocked.
First of all, I want you to tell you that I have tried many methods explained on the internet and neither one is perfect.
The method by adding a contact with number 0000 and so on iOS 13 does not work.

I have “silence unknown calls” turned on and I STILL get No CallerID Calls. They are calling me late at night just before 9pm. It’s really annoying. It does not send them to voicemail like you stated so it does not work for no caller Id because there is no number to block.

I did exactly as the tutorial said, then got my son to switch off ‘show caller Id’ then ring me. It didn’t ring. It went straight to voice mail and showed as missed call from no caller ID.

You can’t! It’s not possible that’s why it says unknown caller because they have hidden their id

I wonder why? I just experimented. Followed instructions then got my son to switch off caller ID on his phone and call me (iPhone 11 to iPhone 5) My phone didn’t ring. I heard his phone get the generic message bank message straight up and then I simply got a missed call message from no caller ID. Genuine people (non-harrassers) with no caller ID will just leave a voice mail or text. Telemarketers and whatnot probably won’t and if they do, you just delete it without listening to their wasted breath. They will soon know they are wasting their time as it doesn’t even ring, just goes to message bank which is typical of being blocked.

That’s not blocking unknown callers. That’s blocking callers who are not in your contacts. How do you block unknown callers? If somebody is not in my contacts and I see the name John Smith on my phone, well, then I know who it is, correct? That is not unknown, and he’s not in my contacts.
