I Love This 😅 If My Shawl Has Detailed Lace Or A Detailed Border, I Go And Use Blocking Wires... I Am Also Lazy, But My Knits I Am A Little Obsessive, And That Trumps Any Laziness I'd Rather Be Committing. 😂

Stephen, I like to make a swatch and test it in water for colour bleeding. For same reason I give a swatch to my clients too.

Hi Stephen - I love the woolly waffle shawl and plan to get the pattern when it comes out tomorrow. I also love the sea swell shawl. Which would you recommend a beginner tackle first? I’m definitely doing both - they’re so gorgeous! Love your work!

Must one do that after every wash? Or does it stay like that after washing it? Love that you make it not so complicated..like blockning on the carpet! Perfect! ❤️❤️😻 Many regards from Sweden! 🇸🇪

Ideally it's good to block shawls like this anytime after you soak it in water/wash it. This will help exaggerate the shape and points of the shawl.

Ok, you're tempting me to get in that cubby of the "to be blocked".... I don't even know how many are in there. What's your take on steam blocking?? It'll skip the soaking step. 🤔
