Hi Mohit, nope not the only way in. Exam can be given in Canada and USA. You do not need to be in the US to apply. Taking some clinical courses in the US actually helps better than nonclinical nowadays. But if nothing else works MPH can be tried. I had given my NBDE in Canada as well.

@priyankajaiswal5688 Please contact JCNDE. Or check your spam folder. Usually when the eligibility letter is received from JCNDE it is valid only for 6months. You might have to redo sending e-copy of ECE if they can't find your documents.

Getting a US tourist visa while doing internship or any year of your course in your home country is easier vs after. So exam can be done during or after internship based on your preparation. The application cycle is 1yr long. So if you give exams in internship before March then you might be able to apply for schools from March. If interviews go well and one gets accepted, then the school should ideally start in the following year. Calculate accordingly if you do the exam afterwards then everything gets delayed more.

The selection of boards is dependent on the state that you wish to practice in or may plan to reside in future. All are good once you have a job 🙂.. yes each state may have specific rules and may require the participants to submit other documents as well.

@Megha Desai - Eligibility letter is valid only for 6 months. So make sure you have your visa ready before you do that. And you can book your exam only in that time period. Especially since there have been quite a lot of delays from India for visas. So be aware of that.

I had this confusion as when i was booking my dates it said i could book any dates within the next 5 days, whereas on the JNCDE website it mentions that the exam must be booked for two consecutive days at the same test center.

@@sushmithareddy3576 2 consecutive working days would be better. So one can be on a Friday and other on the coming Monday.

Hey @Anjana S , order copies only when you are finally applying for the schools in CAAPID. So order as many as the number of schools you apply to. Sending to JCNDE is separate and not dependent on school copies. JCNDE is done way before you start the caapid. All of the school copies are electronic and are sent directly to the schools and not our residences. If the INBDE exam isn't given or cleared in the 6months then yes will have to contact JCNDE again. Let them know that you have received the eligibility letter earlier and ask if an updated letter can be sent with a new 6month eligibility. If they say they need ECE again then, will need to send them. If one doesn't clear the exam in 1st attempt they can try again in 3months within the eligibility period. I haven't come across anyone who hasn't cleared it the second time yet so please contact JCNDE and confirm about that.

So you mean by doing ece we will get only one soft copy and all other school copies are sent electronically later. So will that have a seperate payment according to the number of copies.

Yes of course. You cannot get things for free in the US unfortunately

ECE report takes at least 2 months to be processed initially. Once the report is sent to JCNDE the eligibility letter comes in 1 week atleast. Eligibility is valid for 6months only. Would you be prepared for your INBDE test in that much amount of time? That is the reason why most people try to send it later. No matter when you send them you will be charged the additional fee with (once only) mainly for first ECE processing and then for sending electronic copies to JCNDE or any universities

Hey Jeeshriya, you have to select 2 yourself as some times slots for consecutive days might not be available and there can be a gap of 2-3 days or more in between too. You have to select 2 days based on what is available as shown in the video. 😊 Selecting one will not be enough to get you to the next page of the booking.

You cannot cancel the dates , without losing the money! Rescheduling is basically paying a fee to straight up book the new dates and can be done until 3 months before the exam. When JCNDE gives you the letter of eligibility you are able to take the test only in the said 6 months period by them. If you need to reschedule beyond that period then you need to pay about 125$ more to get an extension for eligibility which is only about 45 days more than those 6 months. Beyond that your exam money is non refundable!

@@Rays00391 unless you pick a date and pay the rescheduling amount it doesn't get rescheduled. The number of times you jump from one date to another and they accept it IF AVAILABLE, it means THAT MANY TIMES YOU WOULD HAVE TO PAY THE RESCHEDULING AMOUNT of 25$ until the 6months of eligibility period is valid. So it would be advisable to get a specific date, be on the clock and study hard and appear for the exam on time without rescheduling and wasting money on it if possible. Application process and the exams are expensive enough. I would want to avoid wasting money on random rescheduling myself. At any point in time you can have only one pair of dates for the 2 days of the exam not 2 or more pairs.

@Khushi Patel , JCNDE approval letter is valid only for 6months to take the exam. If you have a US visa, then yes do it. If not then first get your tourist visa and then book the exam.

Hey Anjana, this video is for booking your INBDE exam. The ADEA CAAPID/ or PASS application will be separate. The test results to be sent to different STATE BOARDS are seen in this video. NOT to CAAPID or PASS. Those are not free. First 3 results to state boards are free. So please select from those you see.

The test is not on a specific day only @Divya Sree Mukkapati. It is a computerized test at a Prometric center and can be taken any time of the year provided you are eligible and you find an exam prometric location available. You cannot go until the dates part in the Prometric webpage unless you have an eligibility letter. Please check the shorts or ECE exam video for getting that part.

Depends on your credit card carrier. Usually most places the charges are pending on the day of swiping and get completed in a few hrs to a day

You can give the exam. But make sure you have a visa though as this has been an issue for a lot of people currently coming from India as there aren't a lot many slot openings for tourist visa in 2022.
