Had the same pump fitted to compliment my new combi-boiler i highly recommended it my electric shower even my washing machine now work to their full potential and at the same time 🙂

Wow the pressure isn,t that bad compare to mine i got a little tiny pressure not enough to even to take a shire horrible,horrible pressure . I need to get a pump big time, thanks for this review!!

In the beginning of the video you mentioned that the valve should go to the opposite end of the arrow and you connected to the opposite of the arrow. But later on, when the pump is connected to the pipes, the valve is actually on the other side!

Sorry if I missed any mention but did not think you were allowed to add a pump to mains cold as it can suck in nasties if there was a tiny leak in the pipe?

Having read some reviews on this product quite a few are saying they are replacing the units due to leakage after about a year. 1 guy had fitted 3 in a period of 5yrs & salamander said thats normal !!! At 250 a pop thats 750 quid over 5 yrs plus installation costs so let's take that to a round 1k shall we eh ! So running costs its 200quid a year to use it over a 5yr period that's alot considering disruption & incurred costs. Its not a one size Fitz all & doesn't perform as is in the video. If you have low flow rate then its not bad but if you have close to 12litres flow rate don't expect much of an improvement!! Noise is another thing that wasn't shown on the video , especially if your up in the night to use the loo its quite loud & also be mindful of sensitive neighbours especially if it's sited close to a party wall or somewhere that can cause a nuisance ! Last thing you want is angry neighbours on your case !! So remember when the dishwasher or washing machine can take an hour or so to run a cycle so take that into account . A shower about 10 mins a bath about 34 -45 mins to fill. So a late night soak will be a noisy affair!! So all in all weigh up these factors before you go ahead & fit one!

You have reduced the. Pressure from the pump. By putting 90 bends on the in feed and out feed. If possible. Because you will reduce the flow of water having the water trying to go round a 15ml 90. On the spin of this you are a top plumber. Kind regards David

How many electric does this pump use a day on average?

So my main water pressure is 2.3 bar and 10l/m flow. If I install this pump, does it bring pressure to 3.9 bar ( 1.6 from pump plus 2.3 from existing main water) and flow rate is still 10l/m. Am i right?

I’m just about to buy one of these - from Screwfix, along with the fitting kit - but tell me, does the fitting kit contain everything I need to fit this straight onto the water supply to my combi boiler or do I also need to buy a full-bore isolating valve…? The water pressure is just about tolerable at the two mixer taps in my small flat but the shower water pressure is abysmal, hence wanting to install this pump. Thanks for any help.

You can't get something for NOTHING.. I'm not a plumber but you can only either increased the volume or the a pressure or both . Physics.. It all depends on "why " you have little pressure in the first place in situations likes this.. Its not irrelevant. Its crucial unless you get lucky like this guy... A pump like this will always work if it's drawing water from.a deposit. Drip drip fill deposit at night, pump water unto you're house during the day.. That's what I've got. 1m³ Deposit (Don't drink it) Stagnant water can be a problem .. Also don't draw your water from the bottom of the deposit, that's where everything that isn't water ends up more ot less.. I'm off off grid, .. Ideally though just have your deposit Higher than your nuclear búnker and let gravity do the work. Gravity is free..

How much cost,?

Hi If I have about 16l/m Can I still install it to improve water flow to let say 25l/m? I have 4 bed house and want to use 2 bathrooms at the same time without losing a water pressure. Please can you give me an advice? Thank you

Our homeboost pump by salamander hasn't made the difference as shown in this video, we suffer with poor pressure as we have a few houses on a shared mains... Fitted pump to main feed into house hear the motor spinning up but not really a difference what so ever waste of money
