I'm thinking a week with Jeff Cavaliere may be his best bet. I've seen Cavalier train different athletes from Football Players to Wrestlers and he is an amazing trainer. A single training Day with Cavalier, and Patrick may be awakened to what he's missing out on. Cavalier should also train Patrick's trainer.. Dang, you really botched the quick explanation of no-fap. Here is a unbiased quick and short: Part of it has to do with the normal dopamine detox culture, which is self explanatory. Another part is based on scant evidence that abstaining from orgasm can temporarily elevate t-levels for men. This along with quite a lot of positive personal testimony online, have played heavily into the general mens' anti-modernist online movement online that basically considers it a right of passage.
@mirr1984
@mirr1984 Ай бұрын
OK, let me clear something up about this no-fap nonsense. Abstaining from cracking-off gives the impression of a energy and focus burst because your body is creating a craving to breed. It's essentially an increase in dopamine creating a sense of motivation, i.e. energy. Beating off should be done in moderation, but ultimately you don't have to abstain very long to attain that feeling of motivation. So basically, no-fap is a deceptive load of nonsense. It also doesn't lower your testosterone. After ejaculation your testosterone slightly lowers for a couple of hours then returns to baseline (this has been proven several times in research).

@@Ificationer I’ve read that too, but it’s always under the guise of soy increase estrogen in large doses. Most people will argue, since it’s only in large doses, you don’t need to worry about it; however, my wife has a soy allergy which forces us to eat primarily from scratch. I’m the cook, so I’m reading food labels constantly, and soy is in everything processed, and sometimes in meat. Even when it’s not labeled “soy,” it’s in there. Natural flavors, gums, stabilizers, vegetable oil (which is just soy oil), and even the wax that they put on fruit can and usually is derived form soy. That’s at least true in America. So, while men aren’t sitting down and eating a bowl of edamame, they are being exposed to it any time they eat fast food or processed. Soy is a huge resource grown in America and there are farming lobbyists in Washington, who pay for the studies that claim estrogen isn’t caused by soy. So, we’ll probably never know for sure, but I’d stay the F away from it.

Ok... So I'm raising this as a discussion point rather than a troll or an alternative answer. More sleep and less stress is a bullshit answer. Our ancestors have always been prey as much as they are predators. It might be that they were hunted by animals like bears, wolves or cougars, or we might be hunted by neighbouring tribes. We have never had a time in history where there was less reason to be stressed or more reasons to lie in and sleep... and yet T levels are still low. In my opinion: at best, more sleep and less stress may be a coincidental factor in the real reason some people have higher T. Is it more likely that the people with more T are actually abnormalities? The paradox is if you're in a place where you even can 'reduce stress/cortisol' then you've already accomplished the goal of reducing cortisol. Doctors like this think those of us with intractable, chronically high cortisol levels are just sitting around mindlessly fretting, and if we just went to the doc and heard the golden words 'meditate five times a day' or whatever then we'd be fixed. It's not 1994 anymore, it's the information age and everybody 'knows' what they need to do. If we could have fixed it naturally we would have done it already.

this dr gives me narcissistic vibes, + his reaction is on the nofap question is weird, he says that he doesn't know about it and get a small laugh when chris jokingly point out that he's a specialist at it, the small laugh doesnt feel like a polite laugh, feels like this dude just didn't like the question and went defensive about it, this dude feels like an asshole
