God bless you... I could not figure out bounce/export for the life of me. It was one of your other vids that gave me enough understanding to actually save the mess that I created but this built upon that limited understanding and helped a lot. I still don't understand why they call it "bounce" but I can do what I need to do so thanks.

This is a helpful video. Quick question... If I bounce each stem as its own audio file and choose to include the plug-ins, does it also bounce the stereo out plug-ins for each stem?

I've been using Garage Band for years. I'm producing my first project using Logic Pro and I'm reading terms I've never heard of. All I want is to convert a recording into a mp3 and put it on my desktop. Any simple instrutions would be Greatly appreciated! Thank you!

Been asking for this since 1996…. Can logic bounce each main output e.g. 1-2, 3-4… 11-12 without having to stay in the studio and keep pushing 'bounce' on each main output (or Mix buss, if you're OG).

Hi I’m new to logic. I’m trying to create a set of bash tracks for artists to learn parts for a musical I’m writing. I have recorded the rough audio. Hi do I create a file on Google drive and export the tracks individually and allow my artists to access the drive to hear and learn the music

Thanks David, I appreciate the kind words from a fellow producer. Yes, that is my Rode NT1a. I'm doing some small amount of compression, EQ, and then limited to about -3 db. Keeping it nice and simple.

I wanted to bounce a video and a song that i made for it but it doesn’t start at the beginning. It cuts off like the first beat. I tried to add a measure before beat one but it stil doesn’t do the job…. What could i do ?

Hi Charles! Thank you for your helpful tips - I have a question - I am trying to bounce/export projects with a LOT of stems and when i bounce i always get a mix where certain stems drop out or dont play or stutter and it makes the whole mix feel in shambles. It sounds great when i am in the project playing back i just cant find a way to bounce my music without an error- do you have any tips? I have a pretty new macbook i dont know if its my system is not good enough or what but i am walking in circles here and i could use some help!!! thanks again 💜

the project overloads sometimes also but it sounds so great when it plays i am just trying to export it with a perfect flow in sound like how i hear it in the logic program

Thanks for the great videos! I’m able to bounce, but there are no effects on my vocal track. I have my reverb on an aux track, but not sure how to get the effect in my bounce. Do you have a vid that explains? Thanks

@@Sydney-mi3yo This may or may not help but did you happen to have one audio file selected when bouncing? Because for me, multiple times it has only bounced the audio on one track, then i've noticed it's only happened when i have accidentally had a file selected, so once i click off the file it bounces everything within the project.

Hi ,,,,,, I converted a bunch of songs to mp3 by bouncing. and everything worked fine, but for some reason it isn't working for one song. when I click bounce you see the window that is scanning or bouncing the song. but when it finishes in a few seconds. you don't see the second window below it that says turning it into an mp3. the song will appear on my desktop like it has been converted, but it doesn't open or play, and I just can't figure out what is different about this one song that is different from the others 10 that I just did. some setting must be stopping it from the final step of converting it. any thoughts ? thanks ( I figured it out ) even though I had the mp3 button checked, in the PCM button the surround was checked. and when I unchecked it, I tried again and the song converted to an mp3 )

If you want to use this track in the current session than you should "bounce in place". Do this by going control + command + b

Hey man, you got to dive into every track then and see where it’s coming from. Another thing to check is make sure auto normalize is off on bouncing.

hey there, you are bybassing the plugins, make sure to not have this selected when you're exporting.

What’s super annoying is it sounds fine during playback but when I bounce there’s an audio blip in my vocal track that only appears after I do a final bounce, I tried automation the volume down to - ♾ before during and a little after the blip/breath it still sounds exactly the same as if I didn’t lower the volume/automate to -♾ also the final word on my vocal track is shortened and sounds weird ONLY when I bounce, during playback the full word plays 🤔 🧐 Soo annoying

Hey Charles, Whenever I try to bounce the session I'm working on, it bounces to an MP3 except the volume is much lower than what it is in the actual session? Any solutions to this?

Hey David, it could be your listening to it loud but then it’s being bounced down including the stereo output db level. If you want it to sound louder when you’re bouncing as an mp3 try putting ‘normalize’ to on. See what happens then.

Anyone having problem after bouncing the track to MP3, the mp3 file doesnt like the mixing in logic. Like the panning direction of your track is on a different direction or the other way around, like left to right or right to left instead, after bounce to mp3.

hey norberto, you can bounce single tracks or the entire session, when you bounce the entire session then automation and fx are included, when you bounce seperate tracks, just make sure to include "automation". It's a checkbox on the bounce window.
