I braid my hair every night in big parts that's how I get my curls, I like the stretch and results better than twist outs, plus it's a lot quicker and less work.

Box braids and flat twists are easy to me but braiding to the scalp is still tricky lol. Next try flat twists. Look into it. I do flat twists on myself when I don't have anyone to braid it for me lol

I think this is just a regular braid. He only used 3 pieces. Box braids use 4.

Thanks. For some reason I could braid my ex's hair in real nice french braids, but I can't do my own cuz I can't see it. I wanted to go for a dreadlock look, but I didnt want it to be permanent and dreads are hard/impossible to undo, so I figured braids are close enough and I can comb them out and undo them.
