I laughed so hard when you fell because that’s how I felt with backward crossovers!!! My I first pair of skates, which were bottom of the line basic, were 13 years old!!! I just upgraded to the Jackson Premiere skate with the Coronation Ace blade. I did my first session yesterday and I attempted backward crossovers and I could not get any knee bend yet and just about fell. When I felt the instability I was like “absolutely not” 😂 I’m so glad I’m not the only one!!

I didn't know that you could fall so easily...lol...🙃 I was quite surprised to see you lose your balance and fall...😲... As a new skater, after I sharpened my skates for the very first time, I fell on my head and had a concussion, a semi coma that lasted 10 hours... because I caught an edge...

Yes I did the similar workout break in skating as you showed. Took quite awhile to Get mine “Happy “ and Feet “Happy “ yes I did a tail landing too with my new skates just doing a simple Bunny Hop ! Now my skates comfy . YET when I lace boots to correct tension, the edges rocker and toe pick right there. That took time to getting used to. Now I am doing better flyin around the rink. Love your backwards crossovers. Great tip too from your Coach. Cheers Kristy

I just upgraded to ice flys and I'm scared on the upgraded ankle support as I had my old skates for a while and I forgot what it's like to have new skates. this will be so helpful when they arrive

Great timing! I just got new Ice Flys, too. The good news is that it's my second pair and was able to move my old blades across. Sadly on my first session it was so busy there was no space for edge work and people were whizzing by uncomfortably close. 🤣🤣🤣

I wore my skates to bed when i got them. I actually broke them in the next morning when i woke up to my neighbors loud truck.

The problem is how do I go to sleep fast and wake up not drugged? Oxygen deprivement ehh that can only be done in an airplane, if anybody has ever seen the movie The Langoliers.
