In this video you'll see how I, and other's in the company I freelance for, disassemble a whole lamb after being cooked in a spitbraai/ skewer/ rotisserie machine.

I just watched this at 7:30 am. Why did I do this to myself? Now I'm hungry. Lamb is my go to meat always. So now I want to own a spitbraai yoh! Thanks for the video man

When are you doing the spit? Equipment?

@@MrAnslin1 Closed gas spit oven. Attached the lamb to the rod with inside facing the gas burners and closed the oven for 3 hours at 120 degrees. Came out perfect. Then I used your method to split the meat and served in heated chafing dishes. A total success. Thanks for your amazing tips.

@@shahidahmad1997 even if it's thing, you can start doing business over there...maybe folks don't like the long process as on the fire/coals. With this concept I cook a lamb between 1½ & 2½ hrs, depending on size. So you can eat after 4hrs. The fire concept allows you between 3½ & 6 hrs cooking.

Hey Anslin! That lamb is looking very tender and tasty! Interesting that I'm able to comment on your video and you cannot on my channel. Perhaps it is due to the copyright laws because my video contains commercial music? Some countries do not allow that

@@MrAnslin1 I started August 2019. I traveled from Califormia to Louisiana and back three times between August and February. The pandemic has stopped my travels since March, but I plan to roll again this month.

Hi there Donny, thank you for reaching out. I worked for a company doing the spits. They had people manufacturing it for them, and I don't know those folks. Try Google and research for spitbraai manufacturing companies?

what temperature do you roast your lamb too?

Our machines does not have thermometers. We're just used to the timing of a lamb depending on size. We just know when it's done.

@@JoeG322 the thick parts on the lamb is its tail end around the legs, and I basically check with a cut, but I mostly get my mesg from the knuckles which kinda pull lose from the meat, obviously not burning it. When mounting, I make a cut along the spine both sides where the fillet is...that also indicates the status of the readiness of the lamb.
