i know you’ve received lots of hate over your breakcore vids, but this is extremely helpful as you’re showing people like me who haven’t even used fl how to make stuff. breakcore is a niche genre, with niche genres, communities surrounding can be very gatekeeping. keep making videos, you’re amazing.

That slicex technique is what I've doing to my breakcore stuff, there's a lot of thing you can do with that method it's really fun.

there is also kinqbreak (made up genre) tutorial if someone wants to go even more chaotic (although the video is kinda longer than it needs to be imo)

Good vids man! Was really wondering if you could do a tut on how to make drum beats from scratch. Like compose a beat with individual parts (snare, HH, kick etc) instead of having to chop up already existing beats. Thank you!

I do for most genres, just "break" core is traditionally sampled breaks :)

how do you get from 3:37 to the view on 3:42? which button do I need to press to 'export' it?

There’s a little arrow that should give a drop down menu then you go into piano roll. The chopped up drums will then be represented by notes on the piano roll as on screen at 3:42

You could also export the break with the shaperbox effect and the chop that up. Chopseption
