How to Breakdance I 4 Step I Footwork 101
Details: This Tutorial teaches one of the basic footwork steps called the 4-Step. 4 step is a circular footwork step so make sure you also practice your 6 step for a better understanding.
Disclaimer: These Tutorials on Breakdancing are meant to help spread knowledge to kids and adults who otherwise wont get it, and to help preserve to culture in which we call Hip Hop. Please help keep Hip Hop Alive!
Warning: These tutorials do involve moves that take time and hard work to learn and should not be attempted until you master the basics (Toprocks, Basic Footwork & Basic Freezes). Make sure you get comfortable with the moves before moving on, and make sure you have an open space to dance in. I am not responsible for any injures, sore muscles or broken furniture while you are attempting these tutorials. Take it easy until you feel comfortable. Don't be discouraged. I love to break, and I learned how to do swipes before I got this hang of this. It took me a month but I got the 4 step.

Did the 6 7 8 and 12 steps easy but the 4 seems to be the most challenging for me.I think the pressure that builds up to ur knees every hop makes it difficult after practicing it over and over.

I'm still on an upward learning curve, still a beginner. Interestingly, while this move is not _hard_ it is by far the one that leaves me out of breath the most. This is a surprisingly physically taxing move!

Dude, sorry to bother you, first of all, big fan! Thank you very much for your tutorials! Can you help me? I've seen a video of you doing something similar to this 4 step routine, but you landed with the side of your leg instead of your foot, and then you jumped from it... sorry if I can't explain it better... I'm searching that video for days, I just saw begginner, intermediate and footwork playlists and didn't find it! Would you mind telling me where it is? Thanks!

Bboy Casper's got some nice footwork that doesn't use hands. Plenty of knee rocks, spin-ups/downs, russians etc... mix that with coin drops, head swipes, worms, fish flops and stuff and you could do sets with no hands. The question is "would it look any good?"
